Authorities reportedly responded to Johnny Depp’s Los Angeles home after an alleged female stalker was spotted trespassing on the property.
On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Police Department reportedly received a call around 4 p.m. claiming that someone had entered Depp’s property, according to TMZ.
The source added that the caller claimed the woman was sitting near the mansion’s front gate at the bottom of the hill and had reportedly been spotted around the property several times over the weekend.
Johnny Depp’s Alleged Stalker Sparks Concern
Police were reportedly advised that the trespasser attempted to leave a message for the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star. The alleged stalker was also filming and acting in a suspicious way around the estate.
Meanwhile, RadarOnline reported that the unidentified woman had become a “frequent nuisance” around the neighborhood in recent days, leaving Depp’s neighbors on edge.
After getting the call from concerned neighbors, police reportedly rushed over to Depp’s mansion. However, the alleged female stalker had reportedly left the area before authorities arrived, and no arrests were made.
The actor was reportedly not home at the time of the incident.
Depp once shared the lavish West Hollywood mansion with his ex, Vanessa Paradis. The two dated from 1998 to 2012 and share two children, Lily-Rose Depp and Jack Depp.
Johnny Depp’s History of Stalker Incidents
GettyThis isn’t the first time Depp had a stalker incident. In 2021, a man was arrested and charged with felony vandalism after he broke into the actor’s Hollywood Hills home.
At the time, TMZ reported that a neighbor spotted the suspicious man in their backyard before scaling a gate to get into Depp’s property.
Shortly afterward, the actor’s security team alerted police that someone was inside Depp’s home. The outlet reported that cops found the man taking a shower in one of the actor’s bathrooms and even made himself a drink.
In January 2021, police reportedly arrested a woman who broke into Depp’s home in what authorities described as a suspected burglary attempt.
Sources told TMZ at the time that the woman, who reportedly appeared homeless, allegedly broke into Depp’s mansion but was scared off after the security system was triggered.
The suspect reportedly took off before police arrived, but was found and arrested nearby.
Johnny Depp Once Opened His Home to Eric Dane
GettyThe LA home recently targeted by the female stalker is one of the many properties of Depp.
Previously, Page Six reported that the “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” star opened the doors of one of his homes to the late Eric Dane.
Depp reportedly offered the “Grey’s Anatomy” star to live in his mansion “rent-free” to help ease his financial burden amid his health battle.
“Eric [had] one less thing to worry about,” the source added. “He was living basically rent-free in one of the homes Johnny owns above the Sunset Strip. He told Eric to pay whatever he could — or couldn’t — for rent.”
Dane and Johnny Depp reportedly met years ago through mutual friends.
