VIDEO: Jonathan Majors Breaks Down In Tears Over Meagan Good

Jonathan Majors is opening up about the woman he says stood by him when everything else felt uncertain. During a recent appearance on BET’s “For The Fellas,” the actor became visibly emotional while reflecting on the unwavering support of his wife, Meagan Good, throughout his highly publicized assault and harassment trial.

In the interview clip, Majors struggled to hold back tears as he described how Good showed up for him during one of the darkest chapters of his life. He credited her not only for standing beside him publicly, but for helping him rebuild privately, calling her his “everything.”

“She Helped Rebuild Me”

Majors offered deeper insight into what that support looked like behind closed doors. He explained that Good’s love was rooted in consistency, accountability and honesty rather than grand gestures. He said she “checks” him and does not offer blind loyalty, instead challenging him to reframe situations and separate public scrutiny from reality.

Following his conviction and the professional fallout that followed, Majors admitted he began second-guessing himself. “I always think things are about to get canceled,” he said, acknowledging lingering fears about his place in the industry. He described walking into rooms expecting rejection and assuming the worst before anything even happened.

Majors and Good began dating in May 2023, shortly after his arrest. As he faced legal backlash, including being dropped by representation and losing film roles, Good remained by his side. She attended multiple court appearances throughout 2023, and the couple were frequently photographed together during the height of the case, per Us Weekly.

Their relationship continued to grow despite the controversy. In March 2024, they made their red carpet debut at the African American Film Critics Association luncheon. They later appeared together at the NAACP Image Awards and the BET Awards, where both spoke openly about supporting one another through difficult seasons.

In November 2024, the pair announced their engagement at the Ebony Power 100 Gala, the same event where they first met. They married in 2025.

As Majors said during his BET appearance, “She helped rebuild me. She constantly helps rebuild me.”
