Fans already know Leslie Mann is a talented actress, but what they may not have realized is that she is also great at surfing!
Mann, who is 53, showed off her balancing skills when she posted a video of herself surfing while enjoying a summer vacation with her family.

The video was posted on Instagram on September 2. It shows Mann wearing a tiny black bikini and a life vest. She looks incredible and at ease on the surfboard. Someone from a boat in front of her even throws her a can of drink, which she opens, but after she takes a sip, she loses her balance and tumbles into the water. In the second photo, she is seen cuddling an adorable dog. In a third picture, she poses for a selfie with her loved ones.
Mann received support for her post, including comments from celebrities. Jessica Alba wrote, “Lookin fine as hell,” and Amy Schumer wrote “Legend” followed by three fire emojis.
Paris Hilton commented with a fire emoji, Alyssa Milano wrote, “amazing,” and Austin Nichols reacted to Mann’s fall. “Yes!!!! The fall just made the whole thing so relatable! Like a perfect romantic comedy!!!” he wrote.
Leslie Mann Comments on Fitness
The “Knocked Up” actress is in great shape. She discussed what she does (or rather doesn’t do) to stay fit and healthy in an interview with Redbook magazine in 2015, People reports. “Oh, I’m so inconsistent about exercise,” she said. “I have periods where I’ll work out four times a week, then I’ll quit for months. I probably lean more toward those down periods … You read about actors who wake up at 4 a.m. so they can get in a workout — that’s definitely not me. I’d much rather sleep!”
A lot may have changed in the decade since Mann’s interview, but whatever she is doing, she is doing something right!
The actress has worked for decades in an industry that has unrealistic beauty standards. As a mom of two daughters, Maude Apatow and Iris Apatow, whom she shares with husband, director Judd Apatow, Mann has encouraged them to be comfortable in their own skin. “[I tell them] that they’re beautiful the way they are,” she told Redbook. “It’s hard with girls today because of social media — everybody looks so flawless on Instagram, it messes with girls’ heads. It’s nice when people look real, but that doesn’t happen often.”
Iris and Maude have both followed in their parents’ footsteps with careers in the entertainment industry.
