VIDEO: ABC Shares ‘Live With Kelly & Mark’ Season 38 Announcement

After a short summer hiatus, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos will be back on your morning screens as “Live With Kelly & Mark” kicks off Season 38. The fan-favorite duo is bringing their signature mix of humor, celebrity guests, and themed specials to keep viewers entertained all fall long.


When Does ‘Live With Kelly & Mark’ Season 38 Premiere?

The daytime talk show is set to return with all-new live shows for season 38 starting Tuesday, September 2, ABC announced.

With a new season comes a lineup of new guests, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Derek and Julianne Hough from “DWTS,” Mark Ruffalo, and Rose Byrne. Season 38 will also feature appearances by Alix Earle, Lola Tung, Taylor Kitsch, and a performance by KALEO.

The new season will kick off with a couple of those special themed weeks. Up first is the “Kelly and Mark Do It Week.” For this, the co-hosts will take on some of the hottest viral challenges out there.

For the second themed week, Kelly and Mark will take part in “Pet Week.” This week will feature some furry friends who are up for adoption.


Labor Day Special

While season 38 of “Live With Kelly & Mark” doesn’t premiere until September 2, it looks like ABC has some big plans for the show on Labor Day. The couple has some surprises for viewers for this holiday spectacular, which will air one day prior to the season 38 premiere.

On September 1, Kelly and Mark will be joined in the studio by Paul Wesley and Carson Kressley as guests. We also see the show’s producer, Michael Gelman, fire up the grill and show viewers his tips and tricks for cooking up the perfect steak.


‘Live With Kelly & Mark’ Season 38 Trailer

In anticipation of the new season, the show also shared a new trailer starring “Live” announcer Deja Vu. In the video, they celebrate the return of “daytime’s No. 1 entertainment talk show.”

For the tagline of the video, it is “I’ll be by your side.” The video is set to Calvin Harris’ 2021 hit, “By Your Side.”

The show, even after 37 seasons, continues to be a hit. It is the No. 1 entertainment talk show on television. It is currently up for three 2025 Daytime Emmy Awards. These nominations include Outstanding Daytime Talk Series and Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Hosts.

“Live With Kelly & Mark” is the longest-running daytime television talk show in history. It currently airs Monday through Friday in syndication.
