Fans of the FX series “Love Story: John F Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette” are buzzing after Michael Bergin met his TV twin during a birthday celebration.
Bergin, who dated Bessette ahead of her marriage to Kennedy, came face-to-face with the actor who portrayed him on the series, Noah Fearnley, who delivered a special message and some sweet treats to the former “Baywatch” star, who turns 57 on March 18.
Social Media Lit Up Over the Unexpected Face-to-Face
Michael Bergin shared the moment he met Noah Fearnley face-to-face via Instagram. The visit was arranged to celebrate Bergin’s birthday at his real estate office.
Fearnley introduced himself and Bergin was shocked, shaking his hand and giving him a big hug. Bergin then introduced the actor to everyone in the conference room where the surprise took place.
Following, the actor posted a series of images where the real man met his “reel” counterpart. They posed together in one snap, and celebrated with birthday cupcakes in another.
Bergin then presented the “Love Story” actor with an autographed photo of his days as a Calvin Klein model. He signed it, “To Noah, the younger, better-looking version of myself. Thank you. Michael Bergin.”
In the clip’s caption, Bergin said of Fearnley, “Such an incredible guy @noahfearnleyy. He’s got all the makings of an A lister.”
“Excited to follow his success. Thanks for stopping by The Bergin’s Group.” Fearnley replied, “Such a great day, Michael.”
‘Love Story’ fans flooded the former actor’s Instagram with comments. “Nothing beats the original,but this is super cool. Love it.” A second wrote, “You were such a good sport.” A third penned, “This one is for the books.”
