Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song have just made a major real estate move. The two stars have sold their “sprawling” Toluca Lake, “California estate for $14.25 million,” according to Realtor.com.
Culkin and Song, who have been together since 2017 and got engaged in 2022, share two children, sons Dakota (born in 2021) and Carson (born in 2022). Realtor.com notes that property records show the parents “made a very impressive profit on the sale of the home, which appears to have been sold in an off-market deal that closed Feb. 13, one day before Valentine’s Day.”
Macaulay Culkin & Brenda Song Bought the Home from Kiefer Sutherland
Culkin and Song bought the Toluca Lake home in 2022 for $8 million, purchasing it from Kiefer Sutherland, according to Realtor.com. The residence that was built in 1935 on a 0.58-acre plot spans 4,879 square feet and included four-bedrooms and five-bathrooms.
“Because it was not officially listed, there is little information about what—if any—changes to the home were made by Culkin and Song while they lived there, and no new images of the home have been shared publicly,” Realtor.com explains.
When Sutherland sold the home to Culkin and Song, it boasted, “beautifully landscaped grounds protected by high walls and gates, with the beige-hued and wood-panelled structure featuring a large cobblestone motor court and three-car attached garage,” per Elite Agent.
The interior featured a “formal living and dining rooms, a more casual family room, plus a kitchen with an island bench and breakfast nook,” per Elite Agent. “The primary bedroom overlooks a manicured backyard with a large rectangular pool surrounded by a sundeck and putting green, plus a large terrace for al fresco dining and entertaining with a pergola and fireplace.”
