Nancy Guthrie’s Neighbor Reported Something Strange Days Before Abduction

In the days leading up to Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance, neighbors reportedly noticed unusual activity in the area, prompting one of them to inform the authorities.

Brett McIntire, who lives across the street from Nancy, told The New York Post on Thursday that a suspicious white van was parked on their street. The concerned resident reported seeing the unfamiliar vehicle to the police and was asked questions about what he observed.

“It was somewhere on that street,” he told the outlet. “It was a white van, full-sized, with no printing on the sides. It was parked on the street.”

Suspicious White Van Spotted Days Before Nancy Guthrie’s Abduction

McIntire added that the white van being unmarked made it even more suspicious.

“Normally, people that are coming to work on your home will have a company vehicle or if they’re independent something written on it,” Nancy’s neighbor pointed out.

Moving forward, McIntire said he plans to be more vigilant. “From now on, when I’m going out and about, I’ll have a paper and pen and record anything unusual,” he added.

Meanwhile, his wife, Lisa McIntire, said they are now considering getting security cameras following the abduction of “Today” host Savannah Guthrie’s mother.

The McIntires couldn’t recall the exact day they spotted the van, but confirmed that they had reported it to police.

Nancy Guthrie’s Neighborhood Considered Safe By Locals

Nancy’s neighbors in the leafy Arizona suburb consider it so safe that streetlights aren’t even deemed necessary.

Catalina Foothills Association President Tom Pugh told Fox News Digital on Wednesday that he has never heard of any crime of this magnitude in the area before.

“In the 50 years I’ve lived here, I’ve never heard of any crime like this,” he pointed out. “It’s a friendly neighborhood. It’s [a] very comfortable place to live. That’s one of the main reasons I moved here many years ago.”

He continued, “And by and large, there’s just no crime, or you know, the crime that does occur is a petty kind of crime, where someone might leave their car unlocked and kids walk by and take something. But nothing like this has occurred since I’ve been here. We don’t see those kinds of monsters here.”

As of this writing, the Pima County Sheriff’s Department has not yet identified any suspects in the abduction. Nancy Guthrie was forcibly taken from her home on February 1.

  2. My opinion is this,if this neighbor knew anything days 🤔 before this happened, why wouldn’t she have called the Police,if she did that, maybe 🤔 this situation wouldn’t happen.. I’ll continue to pray for her safety and return to her family 🙏 Amen to That 🙏🙏

    • It says that the police were notified and the guy who called was questioned about it..With that being said they should have been staying around the area and driving through there more often..No place is ever safe especially in this day and age unfortunately..

  3. They need to check satellite surveillance. If nothing is on the surveillance showing a van leaving her property, either from the front back sides of the house then sad to say she probably never made it home from dinner like the family member said. Is there proof other than what the brother in law saying he dropped her off. Is it on camera? We will never know because someone removed them.

  4. After me now reading all this stories about her being kidnapped I pray for her safety and return home safe. what is suspicious to me is the story stated that the Uber driver dropped her off and the garage door was open when she got inside the garage the garage door closed quickly behind her that’s sounds like somebody was already in the house waiting for her to arrive 🤔🤔🤔who was that person inside the house that opened the garage door for her somebody was watching to know that she was coming home and pull it up in the garage and the door was open and quickly closed behind her that’s real suspicious.🤔
