Nicole Kidman Reveals Her Unusual Approach To Partying In Ibiza

Nicole Kidman has shared in a new interview with British Vogue that she has an unorthodox way of partying in Ibiza.

The 59-year-old shared that she spent the past summer traveling Europe and enjoying her own time, a year after splitting from Keith Urban. She also admitted she is entering a new stage of her life and a new mindset.

But, the Oscar winner managed to do it without anyone spotting her.

If you’re wondering why you haven’t seen Nicole partying away across Europe, it’s because the Moulin Rouge! star is very good at going unnoticed.

“I’m stealth. I’m good at slipping in and slipping out of everywhere,” she told the outlet, before listing the locations she had visited recently. “London, Ibiza, Paris, Portofino… a Euro summer,” she added.

When British Vogue asked the Lioness star what a trip to Ibiza looks like, she said: “It’s a small dinner party or it’s a rave.”

“I’m either playing Scrabble or I’m out. It’s that simple,” she added, with a laugh. “Dinner at 10.30pm, club at 1am.”

She also let slip how she can travel through Europe unspotted by fans and selfie takers. “I’ll put on glasses. Sometimes I’ll wear a wig to hide, a little dark wig, and then I can just dance. As long as I’m surrounded by people — like, I take people with me — then I’m fine. I need it.”

Kidman also opened up about some of the adventures on her summer of freedom. She told British Vogue she “inexplicably” played the tambourine alongside a band in Portofino and took a trip to Wimbledon in July “It’s almost like I hear that tennis ball and it puts me into a state of relaxation,” she said about watching tennis.

Nicole Kidman Has A History Of Loving Parties

Nicole Kidman is a self-confessed introvert but not “a nightclub kind of girl,” although you might find her (and her wig) at a rave every now and then.

“I’m not an extrovert and I wouldn’t say I’m the person that walks in and goes, I own this room, [but] I love dancing and I’ll go to a rave because I just want to lose it with a group of people and dance,” she told PEOPLE back in 2024.

On the red carpet of GQ’s Men of the Year Awards on Tuesday, November 19 2025, Nicole told Amelia Dimoldenberg that “I’m a small party person,” responded Kidman, 57. “But I do like a rave.”

“Like a warehouse rave?” Dimoldenberg asked, to which Kidman cheekily confirmed.

In the new interview with British Vogue she opened up about how life now looks a little different to how she expected. “I had a different view of what my life was going to be, but this is what it is now,” Kidman admitted, adding that you have to “adapt” because plans and ideas fall apart

Her comments came months after her divorce from Keith Urban was finalized and as the Australian actress continues moving forward with her family, career and an outlook that included “embracing love.” The couple split in September 2025 after 19 years together and their divorce was finalalized in January 2026.

In March this year, The Scarpetta said her goal was to move forward with positivity. “I’m always going to be moving toward what’s good,” she told Variety earlier this year.
