Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey are officially parents. The couple announced the birth of their first child, a daughter named Colette Annalise McCaffrey, on Sunday, July 13, via a joint Instagram post showing their newborn’s hand. “Colette Annalise McCaffrey 🤍,” they captioned the photo.
In a follow-up post on her Instagram Stories, Culpo shared a heartfelt moment: “Colette is so lucky to have the best daddy in the world,” she wrote, showing McCaffrey watching over their baby girl. “A love like no other.”
Olivia Culpo Underwent a C-Section: “Scariest & Most Rewarding Experience”
In more Instagram stories, Culpo, 33, revealed that she delivered via C-section and described it as: “The scariest and most rewarding of all experiences.” According to people, she credited her husband’s calming presence in the operating room. “As soon as [Christian] came into the room, I felt most at peace,” she wrote, adding that she held tightly onto his arm.
A Journey to Parenthood: Pregnancy & Marriage
Culpo first announced her pregnancy on Instagram in March 2024, captioning a black-and-white maternity shoot: “Next chapter, motherhood 🤍.”
In another post, she and McCaffrey strolled through a field while holding hands and showing off her baby bump. McCaffrey also held sonogram photos in a sweet moment captured on video. The couple met through a blind date in June 2019 but kept their relationship private until Valentine’s Day 2020.
NFL player McCaffrey proposed in April 2023, and they married in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, in June 2024.
Culpo Spoke Candidly About Fertility Fears
On an episode of The Culpo Sisters in December 2022, Olivia discussed freezing her eggs: “I’ve been making decisions out of fear for the future… There’s a lot of pressure that I’ve been putting on my relationship because of fertility.”
She added: “I am going to freeze my eggs so that I can have babies when the time is right for Christian and me. It’s an insurance policy. It’s exciting.”

The Culpo Sisters Knew All Along
Though Olivia tried to keep her pregnancy under wraps, sister Sophia Culpo playfully called her out. “Now you all know why her nickname is Oblivia … she ain’t stealth,” Sophia joked, sharing a throwback of Olivia trying to cover her bump with her dog.
She later teased that Olivia’s dress at a February wedding “poorly” hid the baby bump, quoting her sister’s attempt at cover: “I’m just bloated.”
Despite the teasing, Olivia’s sisters had no doubt she’d be a natural mother. “I know she’s going to be a really loving mother,” Aurora Culpo told People in October 2024. “She’s probably already picking out her children’s preschool.”
The couple is now settling into life as new parents, filled with love and gratitude.
