An actor whose credits include the mystery drama series “Twin Peaks” and the 2016 fantasy adventure movie “Alice Through the Looking Glass” has passed away at the age of just 44.
Welsh star Owain Rhys Davies was born on February 20, 1982, in Cardiff, Wales, in the United Kingdom. While the exact date of his death isn’t specified, it happened sometime in May.
He played Agent Wilson in three 2017 episodes of “Twin Peaks” and voiced the Delivery Frog in “Alice Through the Looking Glass.”
Davies’ other notable credits include the 2017 comedy movie “The Relationtrip” and the 2019 dark comedy film “A Serial Killer’s Guide to Life.”
His brother took to social media to announce the tragic news of his passing.

Rhodri Davies posted on his Instagram account to inform the world about the sad news of his brother Owain Rhys Davies’ passing.
His post features a photograph of Owain smiling outdoors, while holding a bottle of beer. It also features a long caption.
The caption begins, “It is with profound sadness that my father and I share the news that my brother, Owain, has passed away.”
It continues, “This news will come as a great shock to many. While there are still questions that remain unanswered regarding the circumstances of his death, our understanding at this stage is that Owain passed suddenly, naturally, and peacefully.”

Rhodri’s caption goes on, “The reach of Owain’s love, friendship, and generosity was vast. The outpouring of messages we have received over the past few days has been deeply moving and a testament to the impact he had on so many lives.”
Again, it continues, “Owain was fortunate enough to have more than one family. Alongside his biological one, he built extraordinary, family-like bonds with many of his closest friends, colleagues, and loved ones. I am incredibly proud that, while he was my brother, he was also a brother to so many others. We know that this loss will be felt by a great many people, and we take comfort in knowing how loved he was.”
Rhodri then states, “We will try and share further information in due course as we learn more and begin making arrangements. In the meantime, we kindly ask for some privacy as we come to terms with this devastating loss and support one another through the days ahead.”
He then thanks everyone, saying, “Thank you for your kindness, your messages, and for keeping Owain in your thoughts.”
The caption concludes, “Rhodri (Brawd / Brother) & Conway (Tad / Dad).”
Clearly, the precise cause of Owain’s death isn’t yet known. We’re sure more information will come out in due course.
