Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy’s daughter, Sophia Macy, made a rare appearance on Tuesday, March 3.
The couple’s oldest child hit the red carpet for the premiere of HBO’s new series “Rooster,” starring Steve Carell, in which she portrays Ronni.
At the premiere, Sophia stunned in an all-black look, wearing an oversized leather jacket with matching pants as well as black heels. She also styled the look with her hair slicked back, as well as brown eyeshadow and dark lip.
Sophia last attended a red carpet in September 2025 with her father for the premiere of his movie Train Dreams.

GettySophia was thrust into the spotlight at the age of 18 after Huffman was arrested in connection with the College Admissions Scandal, in which she paid a proctor to change the SAT exam scores. Huffman ultimately pleaded guilty and served 11 days in prison.
In an interview with ABC-7 Eyewitness News in November 2023, Huffman said that she wasn’t “looking for a way to cheat the system,” but instead did it “to give my daughter a chance at a future.”
Sophia, who was not aware of her mother’s actions, ultimately retook the SATs and attended Carnegie Mellon University, where she’s in the theatre program.
“Felicity is so proud and grateful that Sophia has kept her chin up over the last year,” a source told PEOPLE in 2020. “It was a painful, challenging time and she pulled through it with strength and grace.”
Sophia made her acting debut in Season 2 of Jordan Peele’s CBS show The Twilight Zone, celebrating the news in an Instagram post.
As for Huffman and Macy’s younger daughter, Georgia, she enrolled at Vassar College in 2020.

When speaking with PEOPLE in 2025, Macy praised his two daughters.
“So I have two daughters, Sophia and Georgia, and I’m so proud of these women,” Macy said. “They’re such fine women. I don’t know how that happened. I credit Felicity, their mom.”
But as for Georgia’s career ambitions, Macy revealed what she’s doing after graduating college.
“She’s pre-law. She’s been taking the LSATs and killing it,” he explained. “She’s an extraordinary woman.”
