Here’s What Alec Baldwin Said Following The Car Crash
โI just want to post a quick message. I got all these inquiries about my car thing this morning. I was in a car accident this morning. Iโm fine. My brother Stephen was out visiting me on Long Island, and we spent the weekend out there for the film festival,โ Baldwin said in the video he posted on Instagram on Monday night.
โI do want to take an opportunity to congratulate everybody on the staff of the film festival,โ he continued. โBut this morning, I was in this car accident. A guy cut me off in a big garbage truck. I mean a garbage truck the size of a whaleโฆ It was the biggest garbage truck Iโve ever seen, but anyway, I wonโt go into the details, I donโt want to bore you.โ
โBut to avoid hitting him, I hit a tree. I hit a big fat tree and crushed my car, my wifeโs car. I crushed my wifeโs car, and I feel bad about that. But itโs all fine. Iโm fine and my brotherโs fine,โ he added, also taking a moment to thank the police for responding so quickly and helping them.
โMy wifeโs car is pretty smashed up,โ he concluded.

TMI on his “trash truck” excuse. That’s always suspicious. Half of every neighborhood has cameras.
