“The Blind Side” actor Quinton Aaron has been hospitalized following a fall at his home, TMZ reported on January 25, 2026 . Aaron starred as Michael Oher in the 2009 film “The Blind Side” across from Sandra Bullock.
GettyThe TMZ report says they learned from a manager that the 41-year-old “collapsed” before being admitted to a hospital in Atlanta, where he’s been for the past 3 days.
The outlet says they were told Aaron’s legs “suddenly stopped functioning” while he was walking up the stairs to his apartment last week, and he was rushed to the hospital after collapsing. The story quotes his manager as telling them Aaron is “stable, communicating with his family and team, and receiving precisely the care needed at this time.”
Finally, the report says Aaron’s manager told TMZ the actor and his family are “taking things one step at a time” and they want his fans to know they appreciate the well-wishes being sent their way.
Quinton Aaron Was Previously Hospitalized in March 2025
On March 6, 2025, TMZ reported Aaron had been released from the hospital after a 7-day stay for some alarming symptoms. He told the outlet two days before being released that he’d been rushed to a Southern California medical facility after experiencing a fever and a “blood-soaked” cough.
The report says he revealed at the time that doctors administered several tests, and it appeared he was suffering from Type A flu and pneumonia, which was treated with a round of antibiotics.
“I feel optimistic I’ll be back on my feet in no time,” TMZ says he told them. The star’s two recent hospitalizations come after a 2019 admission for a serious upper respiratory infection.

In July 2025, Quinton Aaron showed off an incredible fitness transformation. He captioned his before and after pics, “I just wanna say I always looks good in a suit if I might say so myself, but if I don’t look #supafly rockin the #bowtie and being 150 pounds lighter in this picture than the one on the left.”
