Richard Gere revealed the simple thing he does every day to stay grounded: kiss his wife. Hello! asked the “Pretty Woman” actor “which daily activity provides him with a sense of calm.” Gere smiled before responding, “Kissing my wife. When she lets me, which isn’t all the time.”
His wife, Alejandra Silva, playfully clarified her stance on kissing her husband by adding, “Sometimes yes, sometimes no. Otherwise, it would be too easy, right?”

According to Us Weekly, Gere and Silva were first romantically linked in 2015 when they were photographed together in Sicily. By April 2018, the two were married, and less than a year later, they welcomed their first child together. The next year, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Silva gave birth to the couple’s second child.
Although Gere and Silva started dating in 2015, they had known each other for many years prior. According to Hello!, the two were family friends for at least ten years before a mutual friend reintroduced the future lovebirds in 2014.
