Salma Hayek is married to French billionaire François-Henri Pinault, who is the son of François Pinault, an extremely successful businessman who has passed on his legacy as one of the founders of the luxury group Kering and investment holding company Artémis.
On August 21, François celebrated his 89th birthday, and in honor of his special day, Hayek paid tribute to him on Instagram and gave fans a glimpse into the bond she shares with her father-in-law.

Hayek shared two photos on Instagram to celebrate François. She officially joined his family in 2009, when she married François-Henri.
The first image shows them on either side of a mascot, and the second is a large group photo, with François at the front of the picture. He looks incredibly healthy, and in the images, they are both smiling widely. It’s a joyous moment. However, it was the caption that was particularly heartfelt and shared a glimpse into the relationship the “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” actress shares with François.
“Happy birthday to the beating heart of the Pinault family,” she began. “Your strength, generosity, and wisdom inspire us all every single day. We are so blessed to share life with you – may this year bring even more joy, health, and unforgettable moments.” She then wrote the same message in French.
Fans reacted to the post with an outpouring of love. The comment section is filled with red heart emojis. “Happy Birthday, Picture Perfect, Totally Awesome,” a comment reads. “Happy birthday Many more happy returns,” another fan commented.
Salma Hayek Discusses Marriage With François-Henri Pinault
Hayek married Pinault on February 14, 2009 (Valentine’s Day) at the City Hall of the Sixth Arrondissement in Paris, France. They are also parents to their daughter, Valentina Pinault, and the actress is a stepmother to Pinault’s three children from prior relationships.
Hayek and François-Henri have been married for over 15 years and appear very happy. In an interview with Facebook Watch series “Red Table Talk” in June 2021, the actress gave insight into her relationship and what makes it so strong.
“When there is conflict, we put all the energy in solving the problem — never finding who to blame or, ‘You should have done this or that.’ No,” she told “Red Table Talk” of their approach to solving problems in their marriage, People reports. “All our energy goes into, ‘How do we solve this?’ We’ve never said anything nasty to each other. No resentment.”
