Val Kilmer, who passed away on April 1, leaves behind two children, Mercedes, 33, and Jack, 29, who had had with his ex-wife Joanne Whalley. And it was Mercedes Kilmer who announced her father’s death at the age of 65 from pneumonia, she told The New York Times.
Mercedes and Jack both followed a similar path as their parents, pursuing a career in acting.
