On September 13, Diesel posted a throwback photo with Walker, writing, “Happy Birthday, Brian. Twelve years… not a day passes I don’t think about your absence, but as each year goes by, I smile more at the gifts you left behind, the clarity you offered.”
‘Your Legacy Lives Where Love Meets Forever’
In his caption, Diesel reflected on Walker’s impact on the “Fast & Furious” family and the fans. “The fans have been patiently waiting, the best fans in history, not for another, bigger action sequence or box office record, but for family to come home. They’re waiting for the values and heart you breathed into every moment on screen and off,” he wrote.

Meadow Walker Joins in Birthday Tribute
Walker’s daughter, Meadow Walker, also honored her father with a sweet post on Instagram. Sharing a personal photo, she wrote, “Happy birthday daddy. I love you endlessly and miss you every day.”
Over the years, Diesel has remained a father figure in Meadow’s life, even walking her down the aisle at her wedding. The two have often shared how Walker’s legacy continues through both family and film.
Paul Walker’s Fast & Furious Legacy
Walker played Brian O’Conner, a former FBI agent who became part of Dominic Toretto’s (Diesel) crew in “The Fast and the Furious.” He reprised the role in multiple films, including “2 Fast 2 Furious,” “Fast & Furious,” “Fast Five,” “Fast & Furious 6,” and “Furious 7.”
After his death in 2013, Walker’s brothers Caleb and Cody stepped in to help finish “Furious 7,” which famously closed with an emotional farewell sequence set to “See You Again.”
Within the Fast universe, Brian remains alive, raising a family with Mia Toretto, played by Jordana Brewster.
