“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 15 premieres on December 4. This time, the hit Bravo series includes Rachel Zoe, who was a part of the network’s early days with “The Rachel Zoe Project.” Now, Andy Cohen is opening up about what led her to join the show, marking her return to the network.
During BravoCon 2025, Jeff Lewis asked Cohen if he had approached Zoe in the past about joining RHOBH. He said, “No. This is the first year- she reached out and said, ‘Could this be a fit?'” He then said that he asked her if she was sure, citing that it’s ‘an ensemble show, you don’t have control over the product.'”
From there, Cohen discussed how “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” will be different for Zoe, as her original Bravo series was about her business and that she was “the center.”
Cohen Says Zoe Was Excited about ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’
The interview continued, and Cohen stated that getting acclimated to RHOBH’s dynamics was a breeze for Zoe. He said, “She not only jumped at it, but really embraced it, and it was perfect. Zoe also spoke to PEOPLE about her experiences filming for the show.
She told the outlet, “I loved [filming forย RHOBH]. I honestly, I loved being [in] an ensemble. It was really nice [for] it not just be on me and about me and always me.”
Zoe continued, “And I’m so much more interested in other people’s lives than I am my own, so that was really nice to kind of, I think, be with the other women all the time.” She also reflected on how her life has changed since “The Rachel Zoe Project.”
According to her, “Theย Rachel Zoe Projectย ended when Sky, I think, was 1, and I was about to give birth to Kaius. And then [RHOBH] started when Skye was graduating middle school. So it’s actually really wild. It’s like this giant circle that happened.”
She’s Also Going Through a Divorce
Based on the season 15 trailer for “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” Zoe will have several comedic moments. However, she was also going through a hard time during filming as she had separated from her husband, Rodger Berman.
Zoe announced the news in September 2024 with a heartfelt message. It began, “After 33 years together and 26 years married, Rodger and I have come to the mutual decision to end our marriage.” It went on to say how proud they are of their family and that they are committed to co-parenting their children.
She then filed for divorce in July 2025.
