Bethenny Frankel has something to say. And she said it with a kiss. The “Real Housewives of New York” alum, 55, took to Instagram on May 9 to share a romantic photo with new boyfriend Shane L. Campbell, a financier, making their relationship fully and officially public.
Bethenny Frankel Goes Instagram Official, and Her Caption Is Pure Gold
Her caption said everything. “If a launch 🚀 is hard this is a diamond… 💎”
The post marked the first time Frankel publicly confirmed the relationship on social media. And judging by the photo, she is happy to let the world see it.
Their First Public Appearance Together Said It All
The kiss photo on Instagram was confirmation of something fans had already started to notice. Weeks earlier, on April 13, Frankel and Campbell stepped out together publicly for the first time at the 2026 Global Champions Arabians Tour in Miami Beach.
The energy between them was hard to miss. An eyewitness told Page Six they were “glued together from the moment they stepped into the VIP area of the horse event” and “stayed close from the early evening into the night, laughing, whispering, and appearing completely wrapped up in each other.”
Frankel arrived looking happy and confident in a sleeveless pink bodycon dress with an asymmetrical skirt, paired with jeweled earrings, a rose gold watch, metallic open-toe stilettos, and a Valentino purse.
A source told Page Six that Frankel “is the happiest she’s ever been and is fully in her intentional dating era.”
‘There Are Still Amazing Men Out There’: Bethenny on Love Done Right
Frankel had already been dropping hints about a new romance before the Instagram confirmation.
She took to Instagram to talk about a recent five-hour date with a mystery man, followed by more dates that she described as “very planned out and very intentional and very chivalrous.”
She had a message for anyone still waiting for the right person.
“There are still amazing men out there. Do not settle. Do not accept breadcrumbs. Do not accept low-hanging fruit and low lifts of just, like, checking in with you and giving you the news and the weather,” she said.
She did not stop there. “A man has to have a plan to move the ball forward and show you exactly how they feel about you,” Frankel added.
From Valentino Wardrobe Malfunctions to a New Chapter in Love
The new romance is not the only thing keeping Frankel busy. Last month, she attended the 2026 Fashion Trust U.S. Awards in Los Angeles wearing a deep plunge Valentino gown that had other plans. The halter straps broke before she hit the red carpet.
She fixed it herself and documented every second on Instagram. “My [t**t’s] out,” she joked in the video before getting to work, using extra fabric strips already attached to the gown to fashion makeshift straps around her neck and over her shoulders like a cape.
“I’m a designer!” she declared when it was done. “That was insane. Sorry, Valentino.” Her caption matched the moment perfectly. “I’m a designer now #yourewelcome.”
The gown was worth saving. Printed with feathers in shades of green, purple, blue, and beige, Frankel paired it with a gold chain-link Valentino belt and rose-gold heels, both featuring the brand’s crystal-encrusted signature “V” logo.
As for her personal life, Frankel has been married twice before.
She was with Peter Sussman from 1996 to 1997 and later married Jason Hoppy in 2010. The couple shares a daughter, Bryn, 15. Their divorce was finalized in 2021.
