Bethenny Frankel appeared to be in great spirits as she stepped out with a mystery man just days after revealing her scary diagnosis.
“The Real Housewives of New York City” star, 55, was spotted with a male companion in Miami on Monday, as seen in photos shared by Page Six.
For the outing, Frankel opted for a beach-inspired look, wearing a blue sleeveless top with a plunging neckline paired with loose white drawstring pants. She completed the look with a wide-brim straw hat, sunglasses, and a matching tote bag.
The reality star was seen walking alongside the mystery man, who at one point carried Frankel’s bag as she talked on the phone. The two appeared to be headed to the beach.
Bethenny Frankel’s Diagnosis
Just last week, Frankel revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 2 chronic kidney disease after her kidney function kept coming up low in blood tests.
In a video she shared on social media, the Bravo star revealed how she found out about her condition.
“I have a medical announcement,” Frankel said. “Months ago, I decided I was going to be very proactive about blood tests … I started to take a series of blood tests, and each time my kidney function was coming up low.”
Frankel went on to explain that her kidney disease could be the result of a “traumatic experience [she] had years ago when [she] almost died from an allergy attack,” or an autoimmune disease.
She also noted that other infections could have contributed to the disease, including UTI.
“I don’t drink a lot of water. I’m holding a bottle, but I’m not usually drinking it,” Frankel continued. “[My doctor] said, ‘Water is your medicine.'”
The reality star urged her fans to “take precautions” for their own health. “Be mindful,” she warned her followers. “Maybe this is something I’ll have to deal with forever, but I just wanted to tell you because I think it’s important to go get all your bloodwork done.”
Frankel’s Love Life
Frankel’s dating history has been nothing short of controversial. In December 2024, she was spotted kissing businessman Tom Villante on a beach in Miami.
Just last month, the reality star got emotional while talking about her contentious divorce from her second husband, Jason Hoppy.
“It was so traumatic. It was 10 years of my life. I lost hair. I thought I would never survive it. I didn’t want to,” she shared on “Call Your Daddy” podcast. “I had to because of my daughter. I literally thought, ‘I’ll never be happy again.'”
Frankel and Hoppy finalized their divorce in January 2021. The “RHONY” star was previously married to producer Peter Sussman from 1996 to 1997.
