The Bravoverse continues to rally around “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Mary Cosby and her family following the tragic passing of her son, Robert Cosby Jr., who died on Feb. 23, at the age of 23.
Cosby’s RHOSLC cast has been incredibly supportive as she and her family navigate a difficult time. His passing has also deeply affected many stars across Bravo, including RHOSLC star Meredith Marks’ son, Brooks Marks, who recently shared a heartfelt statement about the tragedy.

Recently stepping out at the 37th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles on March 5, Meredith Marks’ son, “Next Gen NYC” star Brooks Marks, shared a heartfelt statement offering his support to the Cosby family.
“My heart goes out to the Cosby family,” Brooks said to People, adding, “He really was such an incredible person. It’s really a devastating, devastating situation.”
According to People, Robert Jr., who struggled with substance abuse and drug addiction, passed away after “a possible overdose,” with Salt Lake City authorities responding to a call regarding a “full arrest/medical emergency” on Feb. 23.
Mary shared a statement confirming his death just two days later on Instagram, writing, “Our beloved son Robert Jr. has been called home to the Lord. Though our hearts ache, we take comfort in God’s promise and in knowing he is finally at peace. We are grateful for your prayers and trust in the Lord to carry us through this time of sorrow.”
On Feb. 28, the reality star shared a photo of her and her son, captioning it, “#godfirst #love #forever #❤️ I’m Going to miss you bubs❤️🙏😢.”
RHOSLC Resumes Filming After Robert Jr.’s Passing
NBCUniversalAccording to People, Robert Jr.’s passing occurred during the same week cameras were scheduled to be up to begin filming the Salt Lake City ladies for the show’s seventh season. Filming was paused in the wake of his tragic death.
In a report published on March 4, the outlet reported that filming for the new season had resumed, but without Mary, who is mourning the loss of her son. It’s not clear whether she will return to the series at a later time.
In fact, Bravo has not yet confirmed which members of the cast are returning. The season six cast consisted of Mary, Lisa Barlow, Heather Gay, Whitney Rose, Meredith Marks, Angie Katsanevas, Bronwyn Newport, and friend of the cast Britani Bateman.
However, an X post by the Bravo fan account Queens of Bravo reported that all of the season six women would be back, including Bateman. The statement also said that a new housewife would be entering the mix.
