Eddie Judge Keeps It Positive When Discussing Vicki Gunvalson’s Return to RHOC

“The Real Housewives of Orange County” star Eddie Judge, husband of Tamra Judge, is weighing in on the momentous return of Vicki Gunvalson for the show’s milestone season 20.

As longtime fans know, Eddie and Vicki haven’t always seen eye to eye, especially after past gossip surfaced on the show. Vicki’s on-again, off-again relationship with Tamra also contributed to the tension. But with Tamra and Vicki recently putting the past behind them, Eddie is now sharing his honest thoughts on Vicki’s return.

Eddie Judge Talks Vicki Gunvalson’s Return to RHOC Season 20

While speaking on his “The Eds” podcast on January 6, Eddie Judge opened up about Vicki Gunvalson’s return to “The Real Housewives of Orange County” season 20. Though the two haven’t always had the best relationship, Eddie shared a refreshingly forward-looking perspective about putting the past behind them.

“What I learned, particularly from my interview with Joe Gorga about him and his sister [Teresa Giudice] talking again, I realized that we do live in the world where you just don’t need enemies,” he shared, while speaking to his wife, Tamra Judge.

Eddie then addressed Vicki’s role in spreading a hurtful rumor about his sexuality, which played out in season 12. Gretchen Rossi, Kelly Dodd, and Lizzie Rovsek were also present and sitting at a table speaking to Tamra’s former friend and best man at her wedding, Ricky Santana, who claimed he saw Eddie making out with another man.

“What she did, she did on the show, and what she did to me really wasn’t that big a deal,” he shared, adding, “She was included [in the gossip] and the stupidity of what those two idiots were doing trying to, you know, put out there that I’m gay.”

He continued, “What I really was bothered with is how she treated you. And again, it’s a TV show … But when you’re fighting, you’re fighting like sisters.”

Both Eddie and Tamra then shared that they hoped her recent reconciliation with Vicki meant they could get back to their old ways of having fun. “So hopefully that goes back, gets back to that. But you know, at the end of the day, you got to forgive, forget and move on,” he said.

Vicki Gunvalson Shares How She Felt Getting Her Orange Back for Season 20

During BravoCon 2025, Andy Cohen was on stage with Vicki Gunvalson when he surprised her and the rest of the audience by giving her an orange and inviting her to return to RHOC as a full-time cast member for season 20.

After happily accepting the invitation to whoop it up once again, she shared with Us Weekly her initial reaction on that stage. “When he asked me, it took a while for me to understand that this is my next life now. I’m so grateful and thankful. I’m just going to be me and have fun,” she shared.

Although the full cast lineup for season 20 has not yet been revealed, fans can assume that Tamra will make her return. That means, fans will get to see Vicki and Tamra together once again, and this time, in a much better place.

In November 2025, Tamra shared with Us Weekly that the women had officially reconciled.  “We’ve had a lot of ups and downs in our 20 years. I always say, we’re like sisters,” she shared, adding, “It’s that love-hate relationship all the time. I’m talking sisterly love. Like, you have little arguments. And then being on a show together, there’s always ups and downs — especially the type of show that we were on together.”

That same month, they collaborated with FlacCity Cafe Instant Lattes, sharing on Instagram, “Reunited… and leaving the toxic behind.” Tamra later shared snapshots alongside Vicki, proving that they put their drama in the past. She captioned the images, “My friend, my soulmate, my sister 👯‍♀️🍊 #RHOC.”
