Kyle Richards Opens Up About the 1 RHOBH Moment She Wishes She Could Change

Kyle Richards has shared many aspects of her life during her 15 seasons on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” but there’s one moment she wishes Bravo’s cameras hadn’t captured.

During a recent appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Richards admitted that her Season 1 blowout with her sister, Kim Richards, still bothers her 15 years later.

Asked to name the “one moment” that she wished “cameras had not captured,” Kyle replied, “I would say Season 1, the limo scene. That’s a no-brainer for me.”

The siblings’ argument, which took place in a limosine with co-star Adrienne Maloof on board, aired during the RHOBH Season 1 finale in 2011. After Kyle Richards called her sister “sick,” Kim accused her of stealing her house. Kyle then accused Kim of being an alcoholic and told her she needed to “get help.”

While the fight with Kim ranks as a moment she would take back, on WWHL, Kyle noted that there’s been “many” other regrettable moments since then. “Like even Amsterdam, you know, running out when [Lisa] Rinna broke the glass and all that,” she said.

“But, I mean, yeah,” she added, confirming that nothing compared to the limo scene.

In 2011, Kyle revealed that the fight caused her great distress. In a post on her Bravo blog, she told fans that it caused an estrangement from her older sister.

“After this horrible argument between Kim and I, we didn’t speak for a long time,” she wrote at the time. “My heart was broken, and I suffered an incredible amount of anxiety and panic attacks. Next to losing my mother, this was the most difficult time of my life.”

In the tell-all book “Not All Diamonds and Rosé: The Inside Story of the Real Housewives From the People Who Lived It,” Bravo host and producer Andy Cohen revealed that the Richards sisters begged for the scene to be cut from the final episode.

“The sisters were begging Evolution and Bravo to take the scene out of the show,” Cohen shared. “It didn’t happen.”

Kathy Hilton Has No Regrets About Her Time on RHOBH

Eldest sister Kathy Hilton also spoke about the fight. During a 2021 appearance on the SiriusXM podcast “Lunch with Bruce,” she revealed that she “broke down” when she saw her sisters’ fight. Hilton also admitted she “didn’t speak to [Kyle] for a long time” afterward.

“Paris and I watched that,” Hilton recalled. “We broke down. You know, when you cry and you’re shaking and your lip starts to quiver and my mommy’s not there and there’s no one… it’s like, I felt helpless and alone.”

Hilton later joined  RHOBH as a “friend of.” On WWHL, she said she had no regrets about anything she had done on camera.

“You know, I have to say I’ve had a great experience,” Hilton shared. “I don’t think that there’s been anything that’s been on the show that… I may have cursed once!”

  1. Gee, what a surprise that Kathy Hilton didn’t speak to Kyle for a long time. It doesn’t take much to set her off with Kyle. The silent treatment, cease and desists, whatever it takes. Kathy’s just one of those mean sisters.
