5 ‘Real Housewives’ Legends Set to Film New Reality Show

Fans of “The Real Housewives of New York City” have been clamoring to have some of the legacy cast back on their screens following Bravo’s decision to reboot the series. Now, a new report says this may be happening soon with some of the RHONY ladies. However, if true, it likely won’t air on Bravo.

As fans know, this isn’t the first time a show featuring some of the RHONY ladies has been mentioned in recent years.

According to Page Six, Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, and Ramona Singer have signed a contract with E! for a brand new reality show. The most exciting aspect of the report is that the show featuring the RHONY cast could begin airing by the end of 2026.

This news comes after Bravo announced plans in 2022 to reboot “The Real Housewives of New York City.” At the time, they planned to launch two shows, RHONY and a legacy version featuring some of the previous cast members.

Unfortunately, the latter plan didn’t materialize as a standalone show. Instead, Bravo produced the show as a season of “The Real Housewives Ultimate Road Trip.” It premiered on Peacock in December 2023 and later aired on Bravo.

Luann de Lesseps Previously Shared Why the Legacy Series Never Worked

Former “Real Housewives of New York City” star de Lesseps appeared on the “Gabbing With Gib” podcast in 2025. While on, she was asked why the previously announced “RHONY Legacy” series never went into production.

She started by saying that the network tried to make too big a change at once. De Lesseps said, “I think they should have swapped up the cast and done that. But they decided to do both, and one after the other sort of fell off the wagon in terms of, you know, Jill[Zarin] didn’t wanna do it. I mean, she did, but you know, there were contractual things.”

The former RHONY star continued, “So, there’s a lot of politics that go on with it, and then all of a sudden we’re replaced. You know, they tried something out, it didn’t work, and I think they’re going to try it again.”

Regarding the reboot, de Lesseps stated that they “threw this new cast together who didn’t really know each other.” However, the original cast had ties to one another. Additionally, she expressed interest in participating in another “Ultimate Girls Trip,” which is currently filming in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the “Real Housewives” franchise.

  1. I’d watch LuAnn, Sonja and Ramona, with Dorinda, but NO WAY will I suffer watching Kelly (strange and self impressed) and Jill (whiny and just irritating.) Count me out, lol.
