Love Island USA works quick but the fans? They work quicker.

The internet is buzzing after a slip-up on the official Love Island USA app seemingly spoiled the arrival of a brand-new bombshell. Fans were quick to spot a photo of a guy named Corbin uploaded to the platform, and internet investigators didn’t waste any time identifying him as Corbin Mims out of Miami.
Who is Corbin Mims?
Corbin is a Stetson University alum and a co-founder of Caicos Exclusive. A company that specializes in luxury vacation rentals in Turks and Caicos. His social media presence points to a heavy focus on fitness.
Fans also noticed that his Instagram comment section has been restricted, nodding towards him being confirmed to be the new bombshell. This shift aligns with the strict social media protocols for the current season, which bar contestants (and their friends and family) from touching their accounts during filming. As Sean Reifel’s sister recently confirmed, there is a total blackout on social media management while the cast is in the Villa.
As Reifel’s sister revealed in a TikTok comment, “They are not allowed to post on socials while they are filming! We are not allowed to post for them either.”
In usual Love Island history, islanders were allowed to have close friends or family take over their accounts. Being able to post and chat with new fans, until they return.
What Does This Mean for the Villa?
The big question is, which Islander will be on his radar?
A teaser for the June 5 episode shows Corbin in a challenge secretly locking lips with islanders inside of a room. We also seem to learn the men are not aware of his presence until later that night, when Corbin is introduced to the Villa.
Corbin enters, “Nice to see y’all again.”
To which KC responds, “Again?”

Drama might be brewing elsewhere, too. There has been noticeable friction between Melanie and Sincere following his recent chat with Kayda. As well as the reveal that he’s once messaged another girl while with someone, during day 3’s challenge. Sending signs to Melanie, that Sincere could be a red flag. With that relationship already feeling a bit shaky, it’s entirely possible that Corbin’s entrance could be the one for a major head turn.
