It seems Kris Jenner can do anything, except sell her Hidden Hills mansion made famous on the family’s OG reality series, “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”
The matriarch of the Kardashian family, which Cosmopolitan calls “undeniably one of America’s richest and most influential families,” has been trying to sell the nearly nine-thousand square foot home since the beginning of the year.
Viewers of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” will instantly recognize the sweeping staircases and black-and-white checkered foyer, not to mention the backyard where the family hosted Christmas parties and other events.
Christie’s International Real Estate has listed the 8,860-square-foot property for $13.5 million. The Hidden Hills mansion features six bedrooms and eight bathrooms.
Kardashian Fans Can Buy the Home Fully Furnished
According to The New York Times, there is currently no one living in the home. In fact, buyers can even purchase it fully furnished for an extra $400,000. But don’t expect to snag Jenner’s favorite chair or other recognizable items from the reality show.
Before putting the home up for sale, Jenner hired celebrity designer Ryan Saghian to redecorate. Saghian replaced almost all of the furniture with pieces from European luxury wholesaler Eichholtz. It’s those that the new buyer can purchase.
Kris Jenner Says She’s Ready to Start a New Chapter
According to property records, Kris Jenner purchased the home along with then-husband Caitlin Jenner, who was known as Bruce at the time, for $4 million in 2010.
The Jenners finalized their divorce in 2015.
Since then, Kris Jenner has spent millions renovating the property, even building a closet just to house her beloved collection of Birkin bags.
But now she’s ready to move on. Jenner told The New York Times, “I’ve shared so many unforgettable memories in this incredible home with my family, and I’m excited to see it start a new chapter with its next owners.”
And she has moved on, moving out of the home before she put it on the market.
Mansion’s Sale Price Holds Steady
Despite being on the market for more than six months, Kris Jenner has not dropped the price on the home where she raised her large family.
Jenner shares Kourtney Kardashian, 46, Kim Kardashian, 44, Khloe Kardashian, 41 and Rob Kardashian, 38, with the late Robert Kardashian. And she shares Kendall Jenner, 29, and Kylie Jenner, 28, with Caitlin Jenner.
And truth be told, she can afford to wait until she gets her price. As the matriarch and so-called “Momager” of the Kardashian clan, Kris Jenner gets a 10 percent cut of her children’s earnings. For example, Forbes reports that Kylie paid 69-year-old Kris an estimated $17 million in 2018. And when Coty bought a 51 percent stake in Kylie Cosmetics a year later, Kris took home $30 million.
She also gets paid for her part in the family’s reality show, and does her own endorsements.
Celebrity Net Worth estimates Kris Jenner’s current net worth at $170 million.
