La La Anthony is downsizing. The reality TV star no longer needs all of the space that her Brooklyn townhouse offers, so she’s put it on the market for $8.5 million.
La La once lived in the residence with her son, Kiyan, whom she shares with her ex-husband, former professional basketball player Carmelo Anthony. However, Kiyan has now left home to play basketball at Syracuse University.
“I love this house,” La La Anthony told Gimme Shelter via the New York Post. “It’s where my son and our friends and family come to hang out. But it’s a little big for me now, and I want another family or person to enjoy it the way we did.”
La La Renovated the Home ‘from Top to Bottom’
GettyAfter buying the townhouse in 2023 for $6.2 million, La La renovated the entire 5,582-square-foot home.
“I did the renovations, from top to bottom. It’s super modern, with a cool decor. I’m leaving all of the finishes, my whole aesthetic,” she told Gimme Shelter. “It’s a beautiful home.”
Mentioning her love of the living room, which boasts large couches and a sizable TV, she explained, “It’s where we’d hang out. It was a great place to be for the holidays, with music, karaoke, just having a great time with friends and family.”
That’s not to mention the glam rom. La La noted, “It’s where I’d get my hair and make-up done if I was working and shooting, and it’s always fun to have glam time with my girlfriends.”
The star also pointed out that the glam room can keep its current purpose or be used as a “great theater, or a hang-out spot — whatever your needs are. There’s so much space, you can do whatever you want with it.”
La La’s Townhouse Has A Lot to Offer
The 25-foot-wide Clinton Hill townhouse that La La has put up for sale was built in 2016. The home spans 4,000 square feet over four levels and offers six bedrooms as well as six and a half bathrooms. That’s not to mention a separate 1,582-square-foot income-producing rental or guest home.
The townhouse boasts “a double-height great room with 20-foot ceilings and oversized windows,” along with a chef’s kitchen and a wine bar.
The third floor includes two bedrooms and bathrooms as well as a home office, which features a glass half-wall that allows the homeowner to see into the great room below.
The primary bedroom suite can be found on the fourth floor and is where residents can enjoy “a terrace, a spa-like windowed bath with radiant-heated floors and a walk-in closet with custom shelves and seating.”
But that’s not all! The fifth floor has a full bath and can be used for anything that the owner desires.
Beyond that, the townhouse features “a garage with a heated driveway and sidewalk outside, triple-pane windows and radiant heat floors within.”
As for the outdoor space, there are three separate terraces and a garden.
