“Love Island” alum Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling are getting ready to expand their family.
The former “Love Island” UK host and the show’s longtime narrator announced they are expecting their second child with coordinated Instagram reveals on Feb. 18. The couple, who are known for keeping their personal lives relatively private, shared the news in their own signature styles.
A Playful Reveal From Both Sides
Whitmore, 40, posted a carousel of photos showing off her baby bump, joking about how she managed to keep the pregnancy quiet.
“Instagram V Reality – Spoiler: It wasn’t just a big meal mama ate. She’s been cooking away! I’d like to thank stretchy pants and travel sick bags,” she wrote in the caption.
Meanwhile, Stirling, 38, opted for a subtle but cheeky visual clue. He shared a photo of a tiny green-and-white football jersey placed inside what appeared to be a baby carrier, hinting at the new addition on the way.
“New Hibbie incoming 💚 Praying they don’t prefer rugby,” he captioned the post.
According to People, the couple are already parents to daughter Stevie Ré, whom they welcomed in March 2021. The pair tied the knot in a private Dublin ceremony in November 2020 before announcing their first pregnancy shortly after.
From Private Wedding to Growing Family

Whitmore and Stirling first met in 2016 through mutual friends and began dating in 2017, later confirming their relationship publicly, per Cosmopolitan UK. In 2020, Stirling proposed during a trip to South Africa, and they quietly married later that year.
When they announced their first pregnancy in December 2020, Whitmore shared a photo of a Guns N’ Roses “Sweet Child O’ Mine” onesie that read “Coming 2021,” per People. At the time, she explained that she typically keeps the personal side of her life private but wanted to share the happy news herself.
She also previously opened up about how challenging it was to conceal her pregnancy while continuing to work, revealing that she had to step away from live BBC Radio 5 broadcasts due to morning sickness and clarified she was not hungover while filming “Celebrity Juice,” according to People.
Stirling, for his part, announced their first baby with humor, posting a photo of his gaming console with a note that read, “I will miss you xxx,” and jokingly apologizing to his “old babies.”
Now, nearly five years after welcoming Stevie Ré, the “Love Island” couple are preparing for baby No. 2. As Whitmore put it in her announcement, “She’s been cooking away!”
