“Love Island USA” season seven couple Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen, affectionately known by fans as “Nicolandria,” recently posed for the cover of Glamour Magazine. The reality TV fan-favorites both look gorgeous in the photo, donning cozy winter sweaters and embracing each other.

Glamour posted the cover photo to Instagram, in which Olandria’s bright red nails pop as her hands caress Nic’s face. The two stand face to face, noses touching, showing just how comfortable and safe they are with each other.
In addition to posing for the cover, Nic and Olandria gave Glamour a vulnerable interview, giving readers new insight into their relationship.
During the interview, Olandria called the attention and scrutiny put on her and Nic’s relationship “draining,” but acknowledged that it has all been easier because she has Nic by her side. “We always have check-ins, like, ‘How’s your mental? How are you today? I’m always here.’ I wish we didn’t have to do that as much as we had to. Thank God we’ve got each other, because I don’t know what we would do without each other, literally, when it comes to that,” Olandria said.
According to the duo, fans often ask for pictures when they’re out in public, which Nic now comes to expect. However, Olandria admitted that sometimes, she wants to have a picture-free outing. “Usually, when we go out, he’ll ask, ‘Hey, are we doing pictures today?’ I’m like, ‘No.’ So he’ll be the vocal one, going like, ‘Hey, guys, no pictures,’ Olandria said, indicating just how safe and respectful her relationship with Nic is.
Luckily, Olandria said fans are kind when she and Nic refuse a photo. “You have to set those boundaries because some days, you just really don’t feel like engaging. And people are always respectful if we decide not to … At the end of the day, we’re still human. Our lives have been flipped upside down, so we like to do normal things,” she said.

They didn’t even consider a relationship with each other until both were left single and vulnerable during Casa Amor.
Luckily, instead of going home, Nic and Olandria were given the option to couple up with each other. Nic was interested in pursuing something, but Olandria still had her eyes on Taylor Williams. Unfortunately, Taylor chose to pursue a relationship with Clarke Carraway, leaving Olandria single.
When Nic’s strongest connection, Cierra Ortega, was removed from the game, he set his sights on Olandria. Without distractions, the two realized they could be really good for each other. They remained coupled up for the rest of the season.
Nic and Olandria may not have won “Love Island USA” season seven, but they left with something better than money: a relationship built on trust and respect.
