What Is Vernon Hiding?
This week’s “Beyond the Gates” spoiler clip begins with Vernon taking a phone call at home. There is an issue because he keeps trying to reassure the person on the other end of the phone. “I know what I’m doing.” In the next frame of the clip, Vernon is in a dark hallway knocking on a door. We hear him tell the person on the phone, “Let me handle this my way,” as a woman opens the door. “Sorry, I’m late,” he whispers to her. What secret is Vernon hiding?
The spoiler clip then jumps to Shanice at the hospital, talking to Derek on her cell phone. “You don’t ‘fess up, and soon, pretty sure you’ll regret it.” The scene then flashes to Ashley walking in the door to their apartment, finding Derek on his feet. “Oh my God, this is incredible! Look at you,” she says. Will he tell Ashley the truth? Or is someone else going to do it first?
In the next scene of the clip, we see Martin at home telling someone that today is their last day. Has he just told Samantha that her days modeling for ChelseaKat are finished? It looks like that is precisely what has happened because we next see her telling Martin that she hates him for taking away her dream. Smitty and Tyrell look on in shock, and Smitty tries to follow Samantha as she bolts from the house. Meanwhile, Tyrell stares at Martin, confused as to what he just witnessed.
Joey Jokes About the Truth in Front of Vanessa
Meanwhile, back at the hospital, Kat is ready for a fight. She confronts Eva and Ted, with both Shanice and Nicole nearby. Eva tells Kat that she called Ted “Dad,” which is infuriating. “Well, I hope you enjoy the one daughter you have left, because you can’t have both of us,” says Kat before storming off. Everyone stands in silence, unsure how to react.
The last few seconds of the new BTG spoiler clip take place at the Fairmont Crest Country Club. Vanessa and Joey are seated when a club member approaches. Joey is then heard saying, “No, I had him killed so I could have his wife all to myself.” Vanessa looks shocked at first, then seems to wonder whether he may have just explained what actually happened to her husband.
