“The Bold and the Beautiful” star Lisa Yamada officially confirmed her exit as the cunning villainess, Luna Nozawa.
In an Instagram post, the 23-year-old actress reflected on her time on the show, along with a carousel of behind-the-scenes photos.
“So many tears shed, blood spilled, friendships formed, and memories made on @boldandbeautifulcbs,” Yamada captioned the post shared on November 21. “What a ride it’s been! Hope you enjoyed the adventures <3 #LUNAtic4ever”
Yamada’s post came on the same day her character, Luna, was declared dead on “The Bold and the Beautiful.” While many fans speculate that Luna could return, as she has before, the actress’ farewell post appears to shut down that possibility.
‘The Bold & the Beautiful’ Stars Show Outpouring of Love for Lisa Yamada
Yamada’s fellow cast members on “The Bold and the Beautiful” quickly took to the comments to send their love and support.
Lawrence Saint-Victor, who plays Carter Walton, wrote, “You’re an absolute warrior!!! To carry story the you way did, and command the screen is nothing short of amazing. To play the innocent ingenue, then the evil villain, to the broken character that just wants to be loved….. Chefs Kiss!! You’re amazing!”
“The Bold and the Beautiful” executive producer Casey Kasprzyk, commended Yamada, saying, “Lisa, it’s not easy to create a soap villain that leaves such a lasting impact, but you truly elevated #BoldandBeautiful, making the audience love to hate Luna while appreciating your incredible acting talents. Thank you for everything.”
Rebecca Budig (Taylor Hayes), commented, “Wish I could have done more with you girl! They threw so much at you…so many words, so much emotion and you rocked it all.”
Christian Weissmann, who plays Remy Pryce, quipped, “Cool. So, where am I?” seemingly referring to his character’s absence during such a pivotal moment.
Laneya Grace (Electra Forrester) wrote, “Come home. The kids miss you.” Yamada shot back playfully, “Don’t get too comfortable, sweetheart.”
Fans Are Not Read for Luna’s Exit
Meanwhile, “The Bold and the Beautiful” fans have shared mixed reactions to Luna’s unexpected exit. While some are glad the villain is finally gone, others can’t imagine the show without her.
One fan wrote in disbelief, “Waittt Luna isn’t coming back?? My heart breaks but I’m so happy for u Lisa! So excited to see what’s next for u!”
Another commented, “Nooooooooo!! I thought maybe you just taking a break and you will come back in a few weeks with a child (you know how soaps are lol). Going to miss seeing you. You sooooo deserved that Daytime Emmy you received.”
Someone added, “Your grandma is Sheila Carter, which means you have 9 lives! You’ll be back when they need you!”
Yamada made her debut as Luna on “The Bold and the Beautiful” in September 2023. Since then, her character has undergone a dramatic transformation, evolving from a sweet, goody-two-shoes girlfriend of RJ Forrester into one of the most ruthless villains in the show’s history.

Excellent acting, well done, a difficult role to play, of course was’nt a fan of character, but so believable
