‘General Hospital’ Stars Share Emotional Tributes to Brad Everett Young

The “General Hospital” family is mourning the sudden loss of Brad Everett Young, the actor and celebrity photographer remembered for his infectious positivity and artistry. As reported by People, Young, 46, lost his life in a car accident in California on Sept. 15, his publicist Paul Christensen confirmed.

Tributes poured in across social media from “General Hospital” stars who had worked with Young or been captured through his lens.

Bryan Craig, who played Morgan Corinthos on the long-running soap, shared a moving post on Instagram. “This is never the type of article you want to post for someone you know. This is devastating. R.I.P. to a great guy that always had a smile on,” Craig wrote.

Chris McKenna, who portrays Jack on “General Hospital,” also remembered Young by sharing recent photos the late photographer had taken. “These were taken just a couple weeks ago by the late @bradley206 we won’t see another like him,” McKenna said.

Longtime soap star Parry Shen reflected on Young’s kindness and resilience in a heartfelt tribute posted to Facebook. “Brad Everett Young was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever met. But the one trait that made him truly stand out in this business, often filled with cynicism, was his indomitable positivity. He was always striving to make the situation better.”

Brad Everett Young’s Career & Tragic Passing

While the tributes highlighted the warmth Young shared with the “General Hospital” cast, the entertainment industry as a whole is grieving his loss.

Young was returning home from a movie late Sunday when his vehicle was struck by a driver going the wrong way on the 134 Freeway in Los Angeles, according to The Hollywood Reporter. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver survived and was hospitalized, Christensen confirmed.

Christensen also released a statement honoring his client: “Brad’s passion for both the arts and the people behind them was unmatched. He lived his mission of keeping creativity alive, and his legacy will continue through Dream Loud Official.”

Young’s career began as an actor in the late 1990s, with appearances on shows such as Forever, Boy Meets World, and Felicity. He went on to guest small roles on “Charmed,” “Beverly Hills 90210,” “The Practice,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and films like “Rumor Has It,” “The Artist,” and “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” in 2017.

Over time, Young found his true calling behind the camera. He transitioned into photography, capturing striking images of Hollywood stars on red carpets and in candid moments. His work was published in outlets such as The Hollywood Reporter and Vanity Fair.

Beyond the red carpet, Young launched Dream Loud Official, a project dedicated to celebrating creativity and artists across the entertainment industry.
