Read on to discover everything that happened in Fairmont Crest on June 1, 2026.

Andre Opens Up About His Fear Of Loss

Monday’s episode begins at Orphie Gene’s, where Chelsea and her “favorite step-dad” Andre share a heartfelt conversation. What starts as a discussion about Chelsea’s growing purse business soon turns into something much deeper.

The pair begins talking about Dani and their concerns about her health. Andre admits that recent events have forced him to think about loss in a way he hasn’t for years. He explains that losing his parents at a young age left a lasting impact on him and changed how he approached relationships.

Andre reveals that after their deaths, he intentionally kept people at arm’s length to avoid experiencing that kind of pain again. While he remained close to Ted and Nicole, he never fully allowed himself to become attached.

Now, however, things have changed. Andre confesses that the more he falls in love with Dani, the more he fears losing her.

Nicole’s Confession Doesn’t Go As Planned

Meanwhile, Nicole pays Vanessa a visit and encourages her to fully process her grief following Doug’s death. Nicole insists that everyone handles loss differently, but urges Vanessa not to avoid her emotions.

Before long, the conversation shifts to Nicole’s own complicated situation. Vanessa questions her about Ted, prompting Nicole to discuss the fantasies she’s been having about her ex-husband. Their conversation also touches on Ted’s recent suggestion that Nicole become the hospital’s chief of staff.

Elsewhere, Shanice is surprised to learn that Ted sent Nicole to check on her following Derek’s death. Although she appreciates the gesture, Shanice admits she wishes Ted had spoken to her directly instead of sending his ex-wife.

Fortunately, Nicole and Shanice quickly clear the air and reach a better understanding.

Later, Nicole heads to see Ted, determined to finally tell him the truth about her feelings. However, before she can reveal what’s been on her mind, Shanice arrives unexpectedly. Nicole immediately backs away from the conversation and leaves.

As she exits, she can’t help noticing Ted and Shanice embracing. The sight clearly leaves Nicole shaken and wondering if she may have waited too long.

Joey Prepares To Meet The Impaler

At the casino, Joey and Randy prepare for a high-stakes meeting with The Impaler.

Joey makes it clear that he doesn’t want the plasma ring operating within his territory. As they discuss the upcoming encounter, Randy admits he’s noticed a change in Joey lately and wonders whether Vanessa may be behind it.

Vanessa later arrives at the casino and immediately raises concerns about Jacob’s suspicions. With Jacob increasingly convinced Joey is connected to the plasma ring, Vanessa worries that law enforcement could be getting dangerously close to the truth.

The conversation briefly turns personal when Vanessa reflects on her past with Doug. Joey responds by jokingly asking her to let him know if he ever becomes boring.

Later, Izaiah confronts Joey directly about Jacob nearly being killed. While Joey denies any involvement, he makes one thing perfectly clear. He promises Izaiah that he would never harm anyone in his family.

“Full stop,” Joey says, emphasizing how much Izaiah means to him.

Naomi Keeps Her Diagnosis A Secret

Over at home, Naomi and Jacob enjoy some much-needed time together. Naomi serves her husband breakfast in bed, and the couple shares a romantic morning.

However, the mood quickly shifts when Jacob experiences lingering trauma from the shooting. As they become intimate, he hears phantom gunshots and struggles to push the memories aside.

Jacob insists that he won’t stop investigating until everyone responsible for Derek’s death is brought to justice. Naomi understands his determination, but worries that his obsession with the case could consume him.

She encourages him to focus on the people who need him most, including his family.

The emotional conversation nearly prompts Naomi to reveal her BRCA gene diagnosis. As she listens to Jacob talk about the future, she comes close to telling him the truth about her health concerns.

In the end, though, Naomi decides the timing isn’t right. Despite several opportunities to come clean, she keeps her diagnosis to herself.

By the end of Monday’s episode, several Fairmont Crest residents were left carrying secrets and uncertainty. As emotions continue running high, those secrets may not stay hidden for much longer.
