Heads up, soap fans!
This week, viewers in the New York area will need to catch CBS soaps on a different channel.
During the Wednesday, February 4 airings, a programming alert was shown at the bottom of the screen, but for those who missed it, here’s what to look out for so as not to miss all of the end-of-the-week episodes.
CBS Soaps Sudden Schedule Change
On Friday, February 6, CBS New York will not air the latest episodes of “The Young and the Restless,” “The Bold and the Beautiful,” and Beyond the Gates,” according to Soaps.com.
Instead, viewers can catch their favorite soap operas on WLNY-TV (New York 55) from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The network is temporarily replacing these three soaps to make room for live coverage of the Installation of the Archbishop of New York on CBS New York.
Preemptions like this are quite common whenever the network prioritizes special events or other programming blocks.
