Theo Carver returns to Salem this week! Abe Carver’s son was last seen on screen in August 2023, when Abe suffered from amnesia. The writing may have been on the wall for his return when Theo’s breakup with Claire was mentioned in July 2025.
According to Soap Opera Digest, Tyler Joseph Andrews will make his debut in the “Days of Our Lives” role on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.

GettyWhile new to daytime, Andrews has a string of previous credits that include “V/H/S/Beyond,” “The Christmas Chain,” and “A Heart Full of Hope.”
Theo is Abe’s son with Lexie. He was born in 20003, and was played by several child actors until Terrell Ransom, Jr. was cast in the role in 2008. He remained in the role until 2015. Theo was then aged into a teen in 2015, with Kyler Pettis taking over until 2018. The character returned again in 2020, with Cameron Johnson taking over the role.

When we last saw Theo, he had hoped to rekindle his romance with Ciara Brady. When that didn’t happen, he was heartbroken and returned to South Africa. Claire eventually ended up joining Theo. He then called Abe a few months ago to let him know that the relationship had come to an end. Now, it appears that Theo is returning home alone.
According to the latest Days preview clip, one of Theo’s first stops is to see his uncle, Tony DiMera. While he carries the Carver family name, Theo’s mother, Lexie Jones, was one of the legendary Stefano DiMeras’ children. Tony seems extra excited to see Theo. What do you think he has up his sleeve for his nephew?
There are also several other college-aged kids in town, like Holly, Tate, and Ari, for Theo to spend time with. There is plenty of action being teased for this fall in Salem, so Theo is sure to find himself in the middle of some serious drama pretty quickly!
Theo isn’t the only character returning to “Days of Our Lives.” 13 other familiar faces will be back on screen this November to celebrate the soap’s anniversary.
