It’s a special day in Salem, today on “Days of Our Lives.” It is Sarah’s second birthday, so there’s a huge party planned at the Kiriakis mansion. The big question is whether Sarah and Xander will be able to get along while celebrating their daughter’s birthday. He is still trying to win her back, so being on his best behavior would be in Xander’s best interest.
Also today, Tate is still trying to get the truth out of Sophia about their daughter’s adoption. Unfortunately, his girlfriend, Holly, is like a wrecking ball in every conversation. After Sophia storms off today, Tate lashes out at Holly.

Will Holly Ruin Tate’s Mission?
Tate is bound and determined to get the truth out of Sophia. He knows that she isn’t being honest about what she did with their baby, and he has enlisted the help of his father and Steve. As they search for the adoption details, he continues to press Sophia for more information. They are talking at the bookstore, and things are calm until Holly arrives. She can’t stand the fact that her boyfriend and Sophia share a child, and Tate inevitably ends up playing peacemaker.
Today, after Sophia leaves, Tate voices his frustration with Holly. He needs to keep things civil in the hopes of getting information, but did Holly ruin that? Her hostility towards Sophia is starting to cause cracks in their romance. Will Holly realize the importance of remaining civil and be able to chill out around Sophia?
Xander and Sarah Celebrate Their Daughter
It’s Victoria’s birthday, and many of Salem’s core residents are on hand to celebrate. Before the festivities get cranking, Maggie takes a moment to talk with her daughter. She knows that Sarah’s relationship with Xander has been rocky at best, so she has some advice to share. The parents will celebrate their daughter together, but what about that weird dance that they are doing towards a reconciliation?
Speaking of Xander, he and Philip arrive at the mansion for Victoria’s second birthday party. Xander’s arms are filled with gifts, which makes Maggie happy. The tension between him and Sarah is quite palpable though. Will they be able to set their differences aside for this special day?
Xander is always much more gentle when he is around Victoria. Could his demeanor today help him to win points with Sarah? Is there any hope for these two to reconcile?
