College is in session at Salem University, and everyone is ready for the latest episode of “Days of Our Lives.” Holly and Tate celebrate college life by hitting the sheets, as Ari deals with Aaron. Brady and Marlena have a lot to discuss, and then he gets to know Cat. Also, Philip and Gabi connect again.

Holly and Tate Celebrate at Salem University
NBCHolly is getting ready to begin college, and it is her grandmother who is supporting her journey. Maggie is pinch-hitting for Nicole to ensure that Holly is all set for Salem University. The two are all smiles as they watch Gabi hug her daughter Ari, who is also getting ready for college. Ari has only been back under Gabi’s roof for a short while, and she already feels like she has to let her go again.
Holly’s boyfriend, Tate, is also ready to go. He shares a special moment with Marlena and realizes that his father is proud to watch him take the next step. Before leaving, Brady has updated his son on everything that he has learned so far about the baby that Sophia gave up. Both father and son know that she is covering up a series of lies.
Holly and Ari are roommates at Salem University, but Ari needs to disappear for a bit so that Holly and Tate can celebrate. They waste no time in sharing some private moments and have their first college romp. The young couple realizes that getting time together is going to be tricky since Brady is also working at his family’s pub.
Brady and Marlena Catch Up
Marlena and Brady have plenty to discuss today. They are both determined to help Rachel adjust to her mother, Kristen, being in jail. Rachel doesn’t remember that she is the one who shot EJ, and Kristen has confessed to the crime to protect her child. Brady is oblivious to the truth and is trying to balance his rage for Kristen with what his daughter needs.
Brady may also have decided to inform Marlena about the questions that have been raised regarding Sophia’s adoption. The dots aren’t connecting, and he has recruited Steve to get to the bottom of things. Perhaps Marlena will have some additional insight.
Also today, Philip and Gabi bump into each other in Horton Town Square. It was the first time they had seen each other since that night they shared in bed. Will it be an awkward conversation, or will they admit to enjoying each other’s company?
