Lisa Riley Is Mourning The Loss Of Her Dear Friend Robin Windsor

In a February interview, Lisa Riley opened up about the loss of her friend Robin Windsor, a professional Latin and ballroom dancer who starred on “Strictly Come Dancing.”

The two became close when they danced together on the hit show, with Riley calling him “one in a million friends” on Loose Women.

“Meeting him I just knew he was, like my firework and my male me. It’s been really hard since he passed and it’s been two years,” she explained. “It was a friendship like no other.”

Windsor passed away in 2024 at the age of 44, having struggled with his mental health. Riley revealed that things took a turn when Windsor lost his job on “Strictly Come Dancing” due to an injury he suffered during a cast party that left him with spinal disk and nerve problems. Specifically, the “light went out and he felt he wasn’t wanted anymore.”

‘Soon as he lost his job on Strictly, you saw this downward spiral in him and the light went off, the magic,” Riley explained. “His mental health started to struggle, he felt that he wasn’t wanted anymore, he felt that he couldn’t get a boyfriend anymore – all he ever wanted… I just wish that he could hear how loved he was, I said that at his funeral.”
