Despite all it took for General Hospital’s Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Chase (Josh Swickard) to find their way to each other, the couple finally got married in May 2024. Unfortunately for them, their marital bliss was short-lived, thanks in large part to the implosion of Michael (Rory Gibson) and Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) marriage, and Willow’s dance into the dark side.
To briefly recap the soapy chaos, Michael learned Willow was sleeping with his uncle Drew (Cameron Mathison), and that led to a divorce and nasty custody battle over the couple’s children, where Chase kept insisting that Michael was being too harsh. Then, after Willow lost custody of her children and married Drew, the disgraced congressman was nearly murdered. Chase has long maintained that Michael was the triggerman, causing even further issues for the former friends, but all the while, it was Willow who attempted to kill her new husband.
Fast forward to today, and Michael is plotting against Chase and Willow, pushing the two together. As Michael sees it, if he can get the two former spouses to cheat on their current spouses, Brook Lynn will dump Chase and kick him out of the Quartermaine mansion. Additionally, Michael believes Willow will once more tarnish her reputation, positioning him in a better spot to limit her access to their children further.
Will Michael’s Scheme Work?
ABCMichael’s scheme is starting to look as if it will prove successful. Chase and Willow have increasingly been spending more time together, and she looks infatuated with him. That, of course, means that Willow is likely to unknowingly assist in her own demise. Despite Chase professing his love for Brook Lynn, even Tracy (Jane Eilliot) can see the writing on the wall.
If Brook Lynn and Chase’s relationship comes crashing down thanks to Michael and Willow, it’s very possible Brook Lynn won’t be single for long. Enter Ethan (Nathan Parsons).
Brook Lynn and Ethan Bond Over Phoebe?
Let’s say Brook Lynnn and Chase do decide to call it quits. The split couldn’t come at a worse time for them, as they are actively trying to adopt baby Phoebe, who happens to be the biological child of Ethan. The pair doesn’t know that tidbit, as Ethan is committed to keeping that information a secret. Furthermore, he’s on board with Brook Lynn and Chase becoming adoptive parents to his child, believing they can provide a good, stable home. Well, he may change his tune about giving up his daughter if there actually is no stable home. After all, he technically hasn’t terminated his parental rights yet.
With all that being said, if Ethan toys with the idea of raising his child in the midst of all of this, he may also recognize how attached Brook Lynn has become to the infant. Is it possible that Brook Lynn and Ethan wind up agreeing to co-parent the young girl? Sure, it is. Could a co-parenting arrangement lead to a romantic relationship? Absolutely.
So what do you think? Can you picture Brook Lynn and Ethan falling in love? Not for nothing, it would be funny to think about Tracy’s granddaughter and Luke’s (Anthony Geary) son getting together.
