Jacinda Took a Huge Risk on “General Hospital”And it Could Cost Her Everything

Jacinda took a huge risk on “General Hospital” this week, and it could end up costing her everything. Willow had Jacinda served with a restraining order that barred her from being around Wiley and Amelia. Furious, Jacinda fell back on tactics from her escort days. That decision could cost her both her job at Crimson and her relationship with Michael Corinthos.

Jacinda called Ezra to retrieve some pills she had left with him back when she was working as an escort. When the opportunity presented itself, she slipped the pills into Willow’s iced coffee. Wiley almost drank the coffee before Willow took it away from him and drank it herself.

As the pills began to take effect, Willow started acting strangely and announced that she was taking the kids to the arcade. That decision could have devastating consequences. Willow could easily get into a car accident or make another dangerous mistake while she’s under the influence. If anything happens to Wiley or Amelia because of Jacinda’s actions, Michael may never forgive her.

Jacinda Didn’t Think This Through

Jacinda should have known better than to pull a stunt like this. She’s already seen how quickly a scheme involving drugs can spiral out of control. When Nina hired Jacinda to drug Drew, the plan went sideways fast. In that case, though, the goal was simply to embarrass Drew.

This time, the consequences could be far more serious. It seems likely Jacinda just wanted Willow to humiliate herself the way Drew did. A public meltdown could damage Willow’s reputation as a member of Congress and knock her confidence down a few pegs.

But Jacinda may not have considered the real danger she was creating. If Willow is driving with Wiley and Amelia while she’s drugged, they could be seriously hurt. She could also cause an accident that injures someone else, leaving the children to live with that trauma.

Even before Willow left the house, things nearly went terribly wrong. Wiley almost drank the drugged coffee himself, which could have created a medical emergency. The kids may also be frightened watching their mother suddenly behave in ways they don’t understand.

The Cost of Revenge

Hopefully, Wiley and Amelia won’t be harmed. But even if everyone is physically okay, Michael is likely to be furious that Jacinda put his children in danger. If it comes out that Willow was drugged by Michael’s girlfriend, it could also seriously damage his custody case.

Right now, Willow is determined to win sole custody of the children. If a family court judge learns that Michael’s girlfriend drugged Willow and endangered Wiley and Amelia, it could become a major issue in the custody battle and reflect poorly on Michael’s judgment.

Once Michael discovers what Jacinda did, he could fire her from Crimson, leaving her without the legitimate career she’s worked so hard to build.

Burning a bridge with someone as powerful as Michael Corinthos could make it difficult for Jacinda to find another respectable job. Their relationship may not survive the betrayal, either. And with Serena making it increasingly obvious that she’s interested in Michael, Jacinda’s future suddenly looks much less secure.

One impulsive act of revenge may end up costing Jacinda everything she’s worked to build. Whether she’ll think it was worth it depends entirely on just how devastating the fallout becomes.
