Michael Corinthos finally got the leverage he needed on “General Hospital” this week. After realizing that Jacinda drugged her, Willow demanded full custody of Wiley and Amelia from Michael. She threatened to ruin him in family court and use her position in Congress if he didn’t agree to give up custody.
But Michael got a gift from Trina and Kai. When they found out from Gio that Willow was blackmailing Michael, they went to him and told him they witnessed Willow shoot Drew. They even gave notarized affidavits telling what happened. Their statements gave Michael the ammunition he needed to fight Willow.
But he made a bad decision when he demanded that Willow move into the gatehouse at the Quartermaines. He thinks keeping Willow close will make it easier to keep an eye on her. But really, it could backfire and give her easy access to hurt him or someone he loves.
Putting The Kids First
It’s possible that Michael also wanted Willow to live at the gatehouse again because she did live there with the kids for a long time. The gatehouse has been a cozy home for Wiley and Amelia. They have a lot of good memories there.
And it’s certainly more convenient. If the kids are spending time with Michael at the main house and with Willow at the gatehouse there won’t be any long commutes or fights over where the kids should stay on certain days. They can come and go between the two places they feel safe and comfortable.
Wiley and Amelia have had a lot of upheaval in their lives during the last couple of years, so moving them back to a place they consider home is exactly what a good dad would do. But Willow has proven she’s dangerous, so having her on the property may be putting Michael or other family members at risk.
Willow Has a Bad Track Record With Babies on “General Hospital”
When Sasha had Daisy, Willow was sneaking in and out of the Quartermaine mansion constantly and doing things like moving Daisy in her crib, changing her clothes, and taking her out of the crib and hiding her.
Willow was in a fugue state during these episodes, but those episodes could return if she’s living in the gatehouse. New baby Phoebe is living in the Quartermaine mansion with her parents Chase and Brook Lynn.
Willow could have more episodes, and baby Phoebe could end up getting hurt. Michael knows Willow was responsible for the incidents with Daisy. He should have thought twice about that before insisting Willow move back to the property.
Willow Tried to Kill Drew Twice
Michael also should be concerned about Willow trying to kill him if she’s living in the gatehouse. She tried to kill Drew by shooting him in the back. And then she tried to kill him by injecting him with the paralytic drug. If she had access to more of the drug she would have kept him paralyzed indefinitely.
Now Michael wants to move her onto the property, where she will have access to the house and to him. He probably thinks he can take care of himself, but Drew that also. If Willow does move back into the gatehouse, Michael better watch his back. And install cameras in the mansion.
