After weeks of meticulously piecing together a whodunit storyline where most of the town of Port Charles is a viable suspect, the time has come for Congressman Drew Cain to reap what he has sown. The new “General Hospital” spoiler clip for this week is out, and it has one focus: Drew and a gunshot. What follows is a flash of all the people who want Drew dead. It looks like Anna, Dante, and Chase will have a brand new case to solve, one that includes a whole bunch of potential suspects!

‘How Many People Do You Think Want Drew Cain Dead?’

As the video clip opens, Police Commissioner Anna Devane and Detective Dante Falconeri clearly have a fresh case on their hands. “How many people do you think want Drew Cain dead?” Anna asks as police lights flash all around them. Dante responds that the list is long, and he is right. Drew has successfully lost every friend and burned every bridge that he has had in Port Charles. He has spent months bullying and blackmailing his way through life, making himself a target.
A more accurate question would be, who doesn’t want Drew Cain dead?
The promo then flashes to Drew, drink in hand, walking towards the fireplace in his darkened living room. He lifts his glass as a gunshot rings out, and then Drew flinches, clearly hit.
Drew Is Shot
ABCThe clip then jumps back to Dante and Anna, with her asking who is at the top of the suspect list.
The last few seconds flash through several people who will land at the top of the list. Portia, whose family has been destroyed by Drew’s blackmail. Sonny, who is trying to keep his grandkids safe with his son. Willow, who has lost Michael and her children because of falling for Drew’s lies.
Then there is Curtis, who threatened to kill Drew after he went after his aunt, and Nina, who has watched him destroy Willow’s life, last but not least, Michael. Drew issued him an ultimatum last week, and the consensus at the time was that the Congressman needed to be stopped immediately.
