Patrick Muldoon’s Sister Shares Loving Final Video He Sent to Family Night Before His Passing

Patrick Muldoon is being remembered with deep love by his family, and his sister has shared a powerful tribute that captures both grief and gratitude. Muldoon died on April 19 at the age of 57 after suffering a heart attack, his manager confirmed, as reported by Deadline. As the family grapples with the sudden loss, Shana Muldoon-Zappa posted a message centered around a final memory, revealing the last video her brother sent to their family group chat.

Sister Shares Final Video and Remembers Patrick Muldoon’s Many Sides

“This was the last video my brother sent to our constant family group chat -from Sat night at LACMA opening. I asked chat what is happening in this beautiful painting which is seen in the next slide. @p_hibs shared how dear friend/brother and producing partner – Bobo – loved St. Ignatius because he was kind of the cool guy, good-time guy who was still able to become a saint. Not only that but the LL LOY chant my brother says is from his football days at Loyola High School.”

Her words moved between reflection and celebration, offering a portrait of the many sides of her brother’s life.

“As always, he jokes… and yet profoundly brings all things into one moment- the joke-ster, the artist, the football player, and the intensely spiritually connected, Jesuit educated, incredible being that is Patrick Muldoon.”

‘My Best Friend’: A Tribute Filled With Love and Memory

As her message continued, she spoke openly about the depth of their bond and the role he played in her life.

“My best friend. The best brother / son/ uncle/ anyone could ever possibly ask for.”

She also shared her intention to continue honoring his life and the impact he had on those around him.

“I will have so much more to share as I know he loves this earthly realm and all he created within it… including all of the love and light his spirit is now receiving through all of you…. Surrounding you in light.💫💫💫💫💫”

Even as the family processes the loss, she expressed a belief that his presence remains close.

“I continue to speak of him in present tense. Because his spirit is all around me. He just changed forms💫🙏🏼💚 #patrickmuldoon”

Shana’s Earlier Message Reflected Shock and Heartbreak

In a tribute shared shortly after his passing, Shana had already expressed the family’s shock.

“Today we woke up and realized yesterday was not just a bad dream. Thank you for the outpouring. We are in shock.”

She described her brother as someone who brought light into every space.

“Those that knew my brother knew he IS the brightest light in every room, in any moment, on any day. I believe he is continuing to be so in spirit.”

Her words also painted a picture of how she chooses to remember him.

“I don’t have words at this time other than I choose to remember him like this from just Easter Sunday. In his most authentic self- singing, bringing joy and magic, and surrounded with those he loved.”

She encouraged those who knew him to keep his memory alive by sharing their own moments with him.

“Bobo, I hope you feel how many people love you. If you have pictures, videos, and beautiful memories, please share, spread, and keep his spirit alive. Talk to him. He believed in that connection with the divine.”

Her message reflected a sense of ongoing connection, even in loss.

“No doubt he will be happy to continue loving from spirit world as the fiercest, most loyal, and fun angel.”

She also acknowledged how difficult it has been to process his passing.

“We don’t have details on any celebration of life at this time as we are devastated and just trying to process how someone so happy, healthy, and full of life is suddenly taken from this earth.”

As tributes continue to pour in, his sister’s words offer a deeply personal reminder of the life he lived and the love he leaves behind.
