On Friday, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) reels over Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) betrayal. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that he tells Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) he is considering leaving Genoa City after what happened.
“I can think of one good reason for you to stay,” Patty tells Matt. “Me.”
Matt wonders if she’s flirting with him, and she teases him more. Patty offers to arrange a passage for him out of town, but Matt isn’t sure if he can trust her.
Patty insists she is not the person she used to be, and Matt questions why she would help him escape if she wants to prove to everyone that she’s reformed.
As Matt walks away, Patty angrily calls Victor. “I heard you were looking for someone named Matt Clark.”
Phyllis Panics
Meanwhile, Phyllis tells Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) that Matt is gone. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers tease that the redhead panics and assumes Patty is behind it.

‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: More Bad Move for Jack
At Society, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) tells Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that she feels sick to her stomach knowing that the man she loves is capable of such cruelty.
“Victor knows about your struggle with addiction, and he’s seen me go through it,” Nikki adds. “To have Patty slip you anything, it’s a slap in the face.”
But then, Nikki also wonders if Patty was lying about Victor’s involvement all along. Jack insists his rival has always been the same and encourages Nikki to get her mind off things.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say their conversation turns to Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), who asked Nikki to be his unofficial sponsor.
Jack offers to become Nick’s official sponsor, leaving Nikki touched by the gesture. “You are an exceptional human being Jack Abbott,” Nikki tells Jack. “You’re the dearest friend I know.”
Later, Jack tells his son, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), that he exaggerated a bit to Nikki. He admits he feels bad, but if it gets her to walk away from Victor, it’ll be worth it.
After returning home, Jack and Kyle see fresh flowers on the table. It’s from Patty, who tells her that she’s keeping her distance until he contacts her. “My God, what have I unleashed?” Jack asks Kyle.
