Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are sharing some sweet snaps of a recent date night on Instagram.
Meghan Markle Honors Princess Diana at Canada Gala
The couple attended an A-list fundraiser in Canada, the 40th-anniversary celebration of composer David Foster’s charitable foundation.
Markle gave the Instagram photo a simple caption of emojis, including a Canadian flag and a red heart.
People reports that Meghan wore a black Greta Constantin gown along with Princess Diana’s diamond and sapphire earrings. It’s a sweet sentiment considering that she never met her late mother-in-law. Prince Harry did a classic spin in a black-and-white tuxedo with a bow tie.

Other guests at the gala included Katharine McPhee, Bill Gates, Adam Levine of Maroon 5, and Chad Kroeger of Nickelback.
The David Foster Foundation announced that the 40th anniversary weekend was being hosted in August to “bring together friends, supporters, artists, and families for an extraordinary celebration of four decades of life-changing impact.”
“From elegant gala experiences and unforgettable musical performances to the beauty of the iconic Inner Harbour, every moment has been thoughtfully designed to celebrate the legacy we have built together — and the countless lives forever changed because of it,” the founder said on the website.
The foundation was created in 1986 to help children who need life-saving organ transplants.
Royal Family Reunion Follows Years of Distance
Prince Harry and Meghan also recently reunited with King Charles III in the UK after tons of speculation. ABC News confirmed that the meeting took place and that King Charles and Queen Camilla also spent time with the children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5. A source reported that the meeting happened at Highgrove House, a private family home in Gloucestershire.
The reunion has been long-awaited, and although Harry regularly makes trips to the UK since stepping down from his role as a working royal, the last time Meghan and the children joined him was in June 2022 to honor the late Queen Elizabeth II. Prince Harry and his brother William are still allegedly keeping their distance from one another, and no reunions have been reported.
The family faced many delays over safety concerns, and Harry even lost an appeal in 2025 after the British government made the decision to reduce his publicly funded security. The family has primarily relied on a private security team since they moved to California in 2020. Harry also spent time at a charity engagement for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, which is an organization for children who have lost a parent in the military, during this trip to the UK.
While no photos of the family reunion are likely to be released, a sweet Father’s Day photo was shared on Instagram.
