Earlier in her career, she spent five years as a music journalist during the height of the blogging era, interviewing musicians, covering the entertainment industry, and writing celebrity news. She worked closely with publicists, managers, producers, and artists to produce in-depth interviews, reviews, and features. Her favorite interview from that time was with Tommy Lee.
