The biggest names in country music came together for the Academy of Country Music Awards on Sunday, May 17, in Las Vegas with amazing performances by newlywed Lainey Wilson, Ella Langley, Kacey Musgraves, recently announced “The Voice” coach season 20 Riley Green, and more.
However, the red carpet was also where these stars shone, including former “The Voice” coach Kelsea Ballerini, who looked like a goddess as she posed for photos.
Kelsea Ballerini Looked Stunning Snapping Selfies With Fans at the ACM Awards
Kelsea Ballerini looked beautiful as she made her way to the ACM Awards on May 17. But, before she hit the red carpet, or should we say blue, the songstress made some time for her devoted fans.
In a clip from the ACM Awards Instagram account, Ballerini could be seen inside a van as her glam squad put the finishing touches to her look ahead of her grand entrance. As fans could be heard enthusiastically calling her name, she smiled and waved before stepping out of the car and immediately making her way over to greet them.
While many celebrities might skip fan interactions before a big night, Ballerini took time to stop for photos, greet fans, and even take selfies with them before heading to the show.
GettyFans in the comment section of the post showed love and support for Ballerini, including commenting on her breathtaking look, which was easily one of the best looks of the night.
“Literally looks like a goddess๐๐ฅ,” a fan shared. “Kelsea looked gorgeous ๐๐ซ๐,” another wrote.
According to Us Weekly, Ballerini attended the ACM Awards in a shimmering Roberto Cavalli gown that featured a small train. Her hair also matched her dreamy look with long, effortless waves and matching hairpins. The “Cowboys Cry To” singer was nominated that night for Female Artist of the Year, which was won by Ella Langley.
Ballerini’s Big Move From Tennessee to New York City
GettyBallerini has made some major life changes this year, including moving from Music City to an apartment in New York City. According to the Knoxville newspaper, Knox News, while performing during “An Evening with the Grand Ole Opry” held at Carnegie Hall on March 20, she announced her big move.
“Ever since I was a little kid and I got here for the first time, I always promised myself that I would do a season or chapter of life in the city, and that season and chapter is right now,” she said.
However, Ballerini added that living in the Big Apple was not permanent. “I don’t know how long it’s gonna last, but I’m really happy to be here!”
In April, while appearing on “Today With Jenna & Sheinelle,” Ballerini opened up about this new “chapter of life.”
“Iโm loving this chapter of life just because I really feel like Iโm being really intentional about connecting to myself,” she said. “Also, being off the road right now. This is my first time not touring in a while and being somewhere new and making new friends. I just havenโt had the time to invest in myself like that for a while,” the songstress added.
