“Big Brother 28” has officially entered the jury phase. The game has already delivered one of its most chaotic weeks yet.
A never-before-seen twist sent Haley Thogmartin out of the game in a matter of hours. Meanwhile, Rick Devens came dangerously close to seeing his own “Big Brother” journey end shortly after volunteering to go on the block.
With nearly the entire house turning against Devens if he had lost the Block Buster, the latest developments have left fans wondering. Specifically, they are asking whether the former “Survivor” star and the other icons are finally out of the jungle.
Barrett Pfeiffer Finally Gets His Moment
Barrett Pfeiffer has arguably been the player to watch over the past several weeks.
Not once, but twice, Pfeiffer plotted to secretly turn on the Crossovers alliance. Those plans, however, were derailed by clutch Blockbuster victories.
Now, the Jumbotron operator finally finds himself in a position of power.
With the spotlight firmly on him, Pfeiffer has a chance to make the kind of big move he has been planning for weeks. Whether he actually pulls the trigger remains to be seen.
The Icons Finally Face the Block Together
This week, Angela Murray, Dee Valladares and Rick Devens were nominated. It marked the first time all three icons have been on the chopping block together.
The nominations came after the trio exposed Yash Patel’s “BB Bribe.” In this twist, he had promised to keep them safe the next time he won Head of Household.
After his deal was exposed to the entire house, Yash appeared ready to get some revenge.
He won his third Veto competition. This gave him the power to determine whether any of the icons would get off the block.
He ultimately chose not to use the Veto, leaving all three nominees vulnerable heading into eviction night.
Rick Devens Could Be Headed Home
For Devens, the situation feels like déjà vu.
At the moment, if the “Survivor” standout fails to win the Block Buster, he is in danger. He could become the next houseguest sent to the jury.
But if Devens wins the competition, the vote could become much more complicated.
On paper, Dee appears to be the bigger threat compared with Angela. However, the newbies have become increasingly concerned about Angela potentially coasting to the end. She has spent much of the game under the radar.
That has led some players to consider flipping the vote against Angela. This could happen if she finds herself sitting next to her closest ally.
With one competition standing between the nominees and the live vote, the power could still shift one more time. This might occur before someone officially becomes the first member of the “Big Brother 28” jury.
And with the jury now set to decide the winner of the season, every move carries more weight than ever.
