‘Big Brother’ Star Confirms She & Her Showmance Are Still Going Strong

Katherine Woodman and Rylie Jeffries began their relationship inside the “Big Brother” house, and although both were evicted pre-jury, the two have maintained their relationship outside the confines of reality TV. Katherine posted a series of photos on Instagram on November 2, 2025, including one of her and Rylie snuggled up.

The “Big Brother” season 27 showmance members look happier than ever in the photo, in which they’re dressed up for Halloween. Rylie commented on the post, writing, “My gorgeous Shieldmaiden,” followed by a blue heart and fire emoji.

Katherine & Rylie’s Relationship Explained

Rylie and Katherine were both cast on the most recent season of “Big Brother,” a show known for facilitating successful marriages despite not being a traditional dating show. In the first episode, Rylie expressed interest in multiple women in the house, including Mickey Lee. However, he quickly settled on Katherine, realizing he didn’t have eyes for anyone else.

Rylie was all in on a relationship with Katherine, and while she reciprocated the feelings, she wasn’t as comfortable with public displays of affection as Rylie was. That being said, the two kissed in the house, leading to a very funny eviction-vote-shout-out. While casting her vote to evict Zach Cornell, Katherine said, “Love you friends and family, sorry you had to watch me kiss a boy.”

Katherine was in tears when Rylie was evicted from the “Big Brother” house, and unfortunately, she was the next person sent packing. Luckily, because both Katherine and Rylie were evicted pre-jury, they were able to continue their relationship without much wait time.

The History of ‘Big Brother’ Showmances

Although Katherine and Rylie aren’t married (yet), they could be the next “Big Brother” couple to make that leap, and they’d be in good company. Over the course of 27 seasons, six “Big Brother” couples are currently married. As host Julie Chen likes to point out, that’s more marriages than have spawned from “The Bachelor” (although more marriages have come from “The Bachelorette” and “Bachelor in Paradise”).

“Big Brother” season 18 couple Nicole Franzel and Victor Arroyo are currently expecting twins. The two got engaged in the “Big Brother” house during season 20.

Another “Big Brother” showmance, Jessica and Cody Nickson, recently welcomed their fifth daughter together. The show met while filming “Big Brother” season 19.

Rachel Reilly, who competed with Katherine and Rylie on season 27, was part of the first “Big Brother” showmance to have a baby, now raising two kids with her husband and “Big Brother” season 12 contestant Brendon Villegas.

If Katherine and Rylie ever decide to get married and have kids, they’re in very good company.
