A third chimed in and said, “Oh gosh you look so good and healthy!”

Brandi Glanville’s Complicated Medical History
Glanville’s trouble began in mid-2023 when she developed significant facial swelling. At the time, she was diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema, a condition that causes deep tissue swelling, including areas in the face.
Over two years later, Glanville still had no answer. Soon, she began to suspect her issues were caused by a facial parasite. She eventually sparked concern from fans online when she put the hair removal lotion, Nair, on her face as a “beauty hack,” which she claimed caused the parasite to move.
Glanville sought help from a variety of doctors over the past few years, including “Botched” star Dr. Terry Dubrow. In December 2024, Dubrow told “TMZ” that he didn’t think Glanville’s facial issues were caused by a parasite or from something she ate. Instead, he believed it was “an infectious process or a foreign body reaction to something she’s had injected.”
“There are these two kinds of microorganisms, one’s called a Microbacterium and the other is called a fungus, and they can be very difficult to treat and could take six to 12 months of antibiotics to treat,” he continued.
In December 2025, Glanville finally got to the bottom of her mystery medical diagnosis.
“I do finally have a diagnosis,” Glanville told “TMZ” on December 5, “and I will be sharing that soon. I have a long road ahead of me to get fully better, but I finally have an answer, so I’m just thrilled.”
When asked what the process has been like for the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, she simply said, “It’s been hell. I’ve turned into an introvert. Leaving the house I get the worst anxiety because I’ve been in my house for two years.”
Glanville has yet to publicly reveal her diagnosis. However, fans are still hoping she opens up more about the situation eventually.
