Brandi Glanville Shows Off New Look After Years-Long Facial Disfigurement

Brandi Glanvilleโ€™s new year seems like it might be off to a great start! The former “Real Housewife,” who has been battling an undiagnosed facial disfigurement for over a year, showed off her new look.

Brandi Glanville Debuts New Face After Suffering Bizarre Facial Disfigurement

โ€œThank you Dr. Nicholas Nikolov the amazing CellSound and for preparing me for The Sundance Film festival & looking forward [to] PBM Princess movie event at Kemo Sabe,โ€ Glanville, 53, wrote alongside a photo of herself and healthcare industry expert Rachel Strauss on Sunday, January 25, via Instagram.

Fans were thrilled with Glanvilleโ€™s new look and flooded the comments section with well wishes.

โ€œLooking good girl love ya Brandi!โ€ one Instagram user wrote, while another added, โ€œBrandy you are looking amazing. Stay strong.โ€

A third chimed in and said, โ€œOh gosh you look so good and healthy!โ€

The “Traitors” alum looked amazing with smooth, glowing skin while her blonde hair fell around her shoulders in loose waves. She wore a turquoise-colored tank top that she paired with a gray Boston Red Sox hat.

Brandi Glanvilleโ€™s Complicated Medical History

Glanvilleโ€™s trouble began in mid-2023 when she developed significant facial swelling. At the time, she was diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema, a condition that causes deep tissue swelling, including areas in the face.

Over two years later, Glanville still had no answer. Soon, she began to suspect her issues were caused by a facial parasite. She eventually sparked concern from fans online when she put the hair removal lotion, Nair, on her face as a โ€œbeauty hack,โ€ which she claimed caused the parasite to move.

Glanville sought help from a variety of doctors over the past few years, including โ€œBotchedโ€ star Dr. Terry Dubrow. In December 2024, Dubrow told โ€œTMZโ€ that he didnโ€™t think Glanvilleโ€™s facial issues were caused by a parasite or from something she ate. Instead, he believed it was โ€œan infectious process or a foreign body reaction to something she’s had injected.”

โ€œThere are these two kinds of microorganisms, one’s called a Microbacterium and the other is called a fungus, and they can be very difficult to treat and could take six to 12 months of antibiotics to treat,โ€ he continued.

In December 2025, Glanville finally got to the bottom of her mystery medical diagnosis.

โ€œI do finally have a diagnosis,โ€ Glanville told โ€œTMZโ€ on December 5, โ€œand I will be sharing that soon. I have a long road ahead of me to get fully better, but I finally have an answer, so Iโ€™m just thrilled.โ€

When asked what the process has been like for the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” alum, she simply said, โ€œItโ€™s been hell. Iโ€™ve turned into an introvert. Leaving the house I get the worst anxiety because Iโ€™ve been in my house for two years.โ€

Glanville has yet to publicly reveal her diagnosis. However, fans are still hoping she opens up more about the situation eventually.
